My fingers slip into my slit as I circle my tender clit. My moans compete with his, and still we’re not touching. I spread my legs wider and slip my finger in, clenching around it as his salty scent fills my nose. I moan as if he’s deep inside me as my fingers push me over the edge.

“Fuck, yeah,” he gasps. “Show me how you touch yourself when you want me.”

I twist my hips like I’m dancing in a private show. There’s no shame as I do the things I do alone. I grunt as my body tenses, and my eyes shut against my will. I gasp, taking in gulps of air as I cum, shaking hard again.

“Open your mouth.” Asher grabs my hair and holds me steady as a stream launches from his hard cock and slaps me across the face. He shouts as another stream covers my hair. He holds on tighter and aims for my open mouth. His cock presses against my lips, and I suck his tip until it’s all gone.

How long our relationship will remain a secret, I don’t know, and as I collapse onto the bed, I don’t care.

There’s enough time to make it to class if we hurry. My phone chimes as I jump off the bed. I grab it and head into the bathroom, leaving the door open. “We’re going to be late, but we should still go.”

On the screen is a text from Dr. Rawlins. I sit down on the floor and read it again. I have one secret left to deal with.

Rawlins: Give me a call. They really want to meet you.

“Charlotte, are you okay?” Hudson peeks in, and his face reflects alarm.

What will they think? Each day there’s something new. I grab a towel, wrap it around me, and walk back into the bedroom. “It’s from Dr. Rawlins. My other family wants to meet me.” I take in a deep breath. “We’ll talk about it on the way to class.”

CHAPTER 16

Hudson

We left paradise, and we’re sent to hell. Hell Week, to be precise, starts at 3:00 a.m. Sunday after spring break. So with a duffel bag in hand, we return to Alpha house. I regret leaving Charlotte’s apartment the moment my feet hit the cold pavement. We trudge along High Street, but my thoughts remain with her. I want to support her when she goes to meet her father, but Charlotte makes it clear that she’ll wait. And only one of us is going with her. I know which one.

We agreed to protect her, and now, we’ve agreed to share her, but the real test is Ivymore. Will Alpha house break us apart?

The conditions are simple. We spend the week in the house, or we’re out. The attic room has been cleared of all furniture except the large dresser. Sleeping bags are laid on the floor for the eight remaining pledges—Bryan, Jaxon, Hudson, Asher, Scott (a.k.a. Sweaty), Miles, Craig, and Sean. Kurt backed down after Jake questioned him about the shit he’s been doing as pledge master. I guess to appease the other brothers, Jaxon and Craig were allowed to return.

“Are you sure?” I whisper to Jaxon.

“My ego can’t take another hit,” he replies. “I’m getting in.”

I glance over at Asher, and his hard gaze is focused straight ahead. He can’t stand Kurt but won’t allow his emotions to show. The guy has a poker face that I envy. Asher hasn’t mentioned leaving school again but remains on academic probation. He might not have a choice but to leave.

We line up in a straight line in front of our gear, as if we’re in boot camp. No smirks, smiles, or remarks. We stand at attention and listen with our mouths shut. Kurt sneers at us during Sam’s announcement in a foolish attempt to psych us out.

A large fish bowl is placed on the dresser where the bar was set up. Folded slips of paper fill the bowl to the top, and each slip has a daily task. Kurt stands in front of the bowl as he speaks.

“Each morning you pick a slip of paper, and that is the task for the day for you and all your brothers. So pick wisely.” He walks down the line in measured steps. “A quick rundown of the rules, pledges. You must complete the task, or you’re out for good.” He eyes Jaxon then continues down the line. “No guests in the house.” He stops in front of me. “You will wear the uniform of a pledge at all times—a shirt and tie.” Kurt sneers at Asher. “You fail a task, and all of you face the consequences. You fail, and your brothers pay.” Kurt glares at all of us. “You are worthless to me until I can call you brothers.”

“Yes, sir!” we say in unison in a roar. Let Hell Week begin.

The bowl is passed around, and today’s tasks are to clean the house. But it’s only the first day. I spend the afternoon scrubbing the fucking grout in that pig sty of a bathroom on the second floor. A few times, I want to gag, and I swear I’ll live off campus instead of here. Jackson lucks out and vacuums the floors in the common areas. He walks in, and the look on my face convinces him to stay and help.

“Where’s Ash?” I ask.

“He’s raking the yard with Bryan. He doesn’t mind it as much as he minds wearing a tie.”

“He’s lucky I had two,” I reply.

Jaxon sighs and picks up a sponge. “I asked about the bowl. The tasks get harder as the week progresses.”

I grit my teeth. “We’ll get through it. It’s only a week.”

On Monday, we spend the day completing a scavenger hunt that covers twenty miles. Thank God I have a car. And in the evening, we visit local brothers who have retired and still live upstate. On Tuesday, we go on a road trip to Niagara Falls. We have to piss over the edge. I thought my stomach would explode from drinking a gallon of water, but I’m able to send an impressive stream into the falls. The task takes the entire day, so we have the evening off.
