Page 35 of Loving Gabe

“You two better not be fucking. The limo is already waiting,” Chase shouts.

“We aren’t,” I say with a laugh.

“Good. There’s nothing more traumatizing than hearing your sister banging your best friend,” I hear him mutter.

We both laugh as we finish getting ready.

It doesn’t take long, since Chase is pretty much making sure we don’t get too close.

I want nothing more than to throw my brother out of here, but I know he’s not going to leave us alone.

We head down to the limo and make a stop to pick up Chase’s date.

She’s a pretty redhead, but she looks nervous and shy. I look at Gabe in question. He’s looking confused too. This isn’t Chase’s usual type.

I wonder how he found her.

When we arrive at the event, we make our rounds. Some of the men we meet don’t pay me much attention, but the women seem to sneer at me like I am beneath them; that or they don’t think I belong on Gabe’s arm.

I excuse myself and head to the bar when Gabe is stuck in a conversation that I wasn’t paying very much attention to.

“Fancy seeing you here,” a voice says just as a bartender brings my wine.

I turn to look as my eyes widen. How did I forget Caleb would be here?

“Caleb, nice to see you,” I say with small smile.

We only spent one night together. He wanted more, but I couldn’t bring myself to lead him on further after losing my virginity to him. I couldn’t get Gabe out of my head, and I knew it was wrong to try to continue a relationship with Caleb afterwards while still feeling that way about Gabe.

“You look stunning as always,” he says while looking me up and down.

“Th-ANKS,” I say, and end up high pitched at the end due to feeling an intense sensation.

Those damn panties Gabe had gotten me to put on.

“Are you okay?” Caleb asks while looking at me in concern. I turn my head to where I left Gabe and see him watching me as he talks to the same man, but this time his hand is in his pocket. There’s a smirk on his face though when he sees me looking at him before he turns the vibrations up.

“I’m fine. Just really really good wine,” I say sounding a little out of breath.

I haven’t even taken a sip, but hopefully he doesn’t point it out.

“Are you here with anyone?” he asks, placing a hand on my arm.

I don’t think someone likes that because the vibrations turn up another notch.

I bite my lip to keep from crying out. “I’m with my boy-ooo-yyy-ff-riend,” I say, and gesture vaguely to where Gabe was standing.

“If you were my date, I certainly wouldn’t leave you by yourself,” Caleb says with a grin. He still hasn’t removed his arm.

The vibrations take on a pulsing rhythm. Fuck, I didn’t know it changed like that.

I have to squeeze my legs together. Thankfully, no one can see with the dress I am wearing.

“I sh-should head back,” I tell him through gritted teeth before throwing back the rest of my wine.

“Call me if you ever need anything,” he says in a serious but inviting tone.

I eye him curiously, but he walks away before I can comment on it.
