“Don’t worry. You’ll be able to tell if they are right for you once you spend some time getting to know them. As long as we clear it with your doctor, you can start seeing them.” I got up from the chair and thanked her. I needed to chat with Aiden again. Once I was in my room, I noticed that he had already sent me a text.

Aiden:I’m so happy to see that you matched with us! Would you like to go on a date tomorrow?

I thought for a moment, then typed back.

I’d love to! But, can it be just you and me at first? I’m not used to the pack dynamic and would like to ask you a bit about it.

Aiden:Of course, I want you to feel comfortable with everything. I’d like to take you to dinner.

Alright :) See you tomorrow.

My heart was racing. Not only was the hottest man I’d ever met interested in me, but he was taking me on a proper date. “Courting” me, according to the Omega House staff. It was silly, but I’d never really been on a date. Not where a man took initiative. My ex never wanted to do anything with me outside the apartment. Now, I was going on a real date with someone whowantedto spend time with me. The only issue was how I was going to deal with not just one, but three men.

Chapter 12

Dominic

I’d just gotten back from the gym when I heard Aiden shout from the office. “She matched with us!” I quickly went to the room, looking over his shoulder at the email from the Omega House, AKA the social service for Omegas without means. Apparently, the omega Aiden had been obsessing over was finally registered and had chosen us as one of the packs she’d like to meet. “I’m telling them we want to meet her.” He started typing immediately. I narrowed my eyes as I watched him.

“What makes this one so special?” I asked while he finished responding to the email. He spoke without looking at me.

“You’ll see. She’s unique. She doesn't seem like a regular omega, all about the money and the good life. And Gods, her scent - it's not fully developed yet, but it’s intoxicating.” I reached over him to grab the mouse and scroll to see her bio. She was pretty, but that wasn’t surprising. Most omegas were attractive. I didn’t see anything special about her, and her bio was sparse. Nothing remarkable.

“You do realize that if her story is right and she came here with nothing that she’s going to want to upgrade her lifestyle?” Aiden finally turned, his eyes showing his disappointment with me.

“You think I’m not a great judge of character? After what we went through, there’s no way I’d let someone near us unless I knew they were a good fit. Besides, she’s new to this world. She doesn’t have a scheming bone in her body. Anyway, I’m sure you’ll want to spoil her as much as I do once you meet her.” I shook my head. Aiden was a romantic at heart. Even after all that went down with our last match, I knew he was more vulnerable to loneliness. He didn’t have the type of relationship Declan and I shared, although if I admitted it, we would have loved an omega to complete our pack. Declan and I still yearned for something that we were missing - the omega that would tie all of us together. But after our shared trauma, I’d rather go without than have to go through the pain again.

“She lives in Omega Social Services housing! Come on Aiden! She’ll like us until she realizes she can have access to every pack out there.” He turned suddenly, standing to full height and looking me in the eye.

“Don’t underestimate our pack. We have plenty to offer her. But if you and Declan don’t end up wanting her, I won’t force the issue.”

“Trust me, I’m sure I’llloveher. Especially if her heat is coming up, I can take good care of her in that regard.” Aiden growled and flashed me a look.

“Dominic, don’t disrespect her. I need this.” He was radiating alpha energy, but his eyes were pleading. He really did want her.

“Fine. I’ll be on my best behavior around her. But if I get any indication that something’s not right, I will make my opinion known.”

“What’s all the commotion?” Declan joined us, and Aiden gestured to the screen.

“Look. It’s the omega I was telling you about - she matched withour pack.” Delcan walked over with excitement on his face. I rolled my eyes at the two of them.

“Holy… that can’t be right. I’ve seen her before. She works at the physical therapy office I go to! Dominic, that’s the one I was telling you about! I thought she was a beta this whole time!” My eyes snapped back to the photo of the woman on the screen. That’sthe one who had him all riled up the other day?

“Aiden, she’s the one who you found out near the woods? This is fate!” Declan took over the laptop, scrolling through her bio. I watched the screen, trying to see what it was about this woman that had them both so entranced. Still not seeing anything remarkable, I huffed and left the room. If the two of them were already that excited then I would have to be the one to watch out for red flags. And something told me this woman had plenty. They couldn’t see it, but I wasn’t as easily blinded by omegas.

Chapter 13

Piper

.“Aren't you excited? A whole pack! And they are all gorgeous!” Bella had been in my room the entire evening helping me pick out an outfit, fix my hair, and help with my makeup for my upcoming date that evening. The young omega squealed as she pranced around picking through the heap of tops for me to try on. The truth was, I had knots in my stomach. Aiden had entranced me from the moment I saw him, and he was the first person to take care of me in this new place. But he came with a pack. I had to see if that was something I could handle.

“Yeah, I’m excited.” She threw me another top to try on.

“I knew from the moment he sent you the gift that he was the one for you! Not to mention what he sent tonight!” Bella spun around, her eyes practically making cartoon hearts at the romance she was concocting in her head. I received a delivery of gift cards and a bouquet of roses from Pack Archer a few hours ago. According to Bella, this was going to become a regular occurrence if I courted.

“Hold on now. I barely know him. And I also have to meet two other members of his, well, his pack.” I grimaced at the words.

“Oh come on! It’s a dream to have a pack! So many men to dote on you, plus three of them means three incomes! You’ll never have to work again!” I tried on the top and looked at myself in the mirror.
