Ethan turned and looked at her. “Min. Already?”
Min nodded. She’d just found out this morning. “Yes, already.”
“Oh my gods. That is wonderful—and so damn scary.” Ethan put his wings around her and kissed her. “Min, what have we got ourselves into?”
“Parenthood,” she giggled.
They both looked up to see Theo crawling determinedly toward the door of the Westerly.
“Quick, catch him, before he gets those little hands on the books.” Min laughed.
And with that, the two overjoyed parents tore off after their perfect little shifter.
