“Sky’s pussy got this nigga losing it,” Gianni mumbled, causing me to chuckle.

“Y’all nigga’s kissed made up, and you got all the jokes now.”

“If you saw yourself right now, you’d have jokes, too,” I added.

“If that was Hailo, you wouldn’t be saying that, so suck my dick.”

“Of course, I wouldn’t, but you would, and I’d be cursing yo’ ass out like you’re doing me,” Gi casually replied, rolling up, and at this point, I think we all needed it.

“I fucked up, Mack. I feel bad Sky got caught up in my shit. They’re going to get everything coming to them. The question is, how does Hailo feel about that?” I asked, and all eyes were on Gi.

“She knows what it is,” Gi replied, confident but I wasn’t sure it was that simple.

“It’s easy to say that until you pop that nigga. He’s still her Pops,” I explained, but Gi didn’t seem worried.

“I got my wife.”

“Nigga love throwing that fuckin title around,” Mack sat down.

“Don’t hate me because I can. How is Sky doing?”

“It’s hard for her to sleep, but she’s managing.”

“I’ll tell Lo she needs some girl time. That way, they’ll be together tonight while we handle business,” Gianni offered.

“How are we going to get to Trent and TJ?”

“Leave that to me.” Gianni wore a mischievous smile, and I knew he had a trick up his sleeve.

Gianni stepped out of the room to call Hailo so he could put our plan in motion. I didn’t bother apologizing to Mack again because it wouldn’t have made a difference anyway. Thankfully, he calmed down, which probably had a lot to do with the weed he smoked.

“After we handle this shit. No more secrets,” Gianni announced, entering the room.

“Why the fuck are you looking at me?” I exclaimed because, I knew that shit was directed at me.

“You’re the nigga with the most secrets,” Mack replied, taking another pull from the blunt.

“Anything y’all need to get off your chest, do it now. Regardless of how anybody feels, we’re in this shit together. I’m not trying to spend the next twenty years of my life stressed out behind this shit,” Gianni was referring to us working together.

“As long as Ty doesn’t make any more side deals. I’m cool,” Mack replied, but another thought quickly came to mind. “Y’all nigga’s better learn how to deal with each other. I’m not a goddamn therapist always mediating between y’all.”

“Nobody asks you to do that anyway. I can handle Tyson,” Gi smirked.

“You couldn’t handle me on my worst day, Gianni, but I agree. That nigga likes telling people what the fuck to do,” I agreed, pointing at Mack.

“I also like being quiet, so why don’t y’all give me a chance to do that so no more secrets.”

“Agreed,” Gianni added.

Leaning back, I mulled over, telling my brothers the truth. All of it. I had done a lot of fucked up shit, but they were still by my side. Real love and loyalty. They deserved to know the truth no matter how difficult it was to share.

“Remember when I left to keep the peace with the Ricard family?”

“Nigga how could we forget?” Mack responded, causing Gi to chuckle.

“That shit wasn’t me. It was Pops and his gambling bullshit. It was easier for him to sell me out than to own his shit. He convinced me I had to do this for the family, so I kept my mouth shut and.”

“What?” Gi sat up in his seat, waiting for the rest of the story.
