Did he buy that? No. Not after this morning when she’d had to come to breakfast with his cum still dripping out of her.

“Basically, the same plan as before for the morning,” Mitch said, giving Domi an adoring look as he squeezed her fingers. “Hang out on the beach, but then after lunch, we’ll go back to the villas to pack up, so we don’t have to worry about it tomorrow and can just stay up late tonight and enjoy our final night doing bachelor and bachelorette party things.”

Right.

Their last night together and the last morning were gone now.

He had to paste a smile on his face and act like it was great and he didn’t care because that’s how he would have felt at the beginning of the week. The fact was, he was internally cursing up a storm and wishing Domi and Mitch weren’t so damn thoughtful about getting time in with their friends, even though that was technically what the week was supposed to be for.

Damn it.

“Great,” he said as everyone offered up their own agreement of what a great idea it was. Just so great.

The whole morning went by without getting a chance to speak to Rae privately. Everyone had come to breakfast dressed and ready to hit the beach right afterward, and once they were there, there was no way to discreetly slip away. Especially not both of them at the same time. Even when Rae tried to go to the bathroom, all three other women announced they needed to go, too.

It wasn’t until they were heading back up toward the villas that he got close to panic, though.

“Want me to come help you pack up?” Domi asked Rae. He was following right behind them, so he could hear everything.

“Don’t you need to pack up, too?” Rae asked, sounding amused. “And get things ready to have the rest of us over?”

Brian relaxed. Slightly. He could only imagine how tonight would go if everyone found out that all of Rae’s stuff was in his villa because hers had basically flooded.

“Well… yeah.” Domi laughed. “But I can pack in the morning if I really need to.”

“You say that now, but you’ll regret it when you wake up tomorrow.” Rae nudged Domi in the side. “After the drinking and the staying up late and?—”

“Yeah, yeah, yeah, point made.” Domi sighed as they came off the path to where the villa entrances were. “Alright, I’m going to go get my stuff packed up then. You’d better hurry your butt over, though. We’ve got girl stuff to do!”

Chuckling, Mitch leaned over to wrap his arm around Domi’s waist and pull her along with him. Rae headed toward her villa as if nothing was the matter with it, the way she’d been doing all week. Everyone else was going toward their own, chatting with their partner.

Which was perfect.

It only took Rae a couple minutes to make it to the back door of Brian’s villa, and he let her in.

To his surprise, she darted past him, heading straight for the bedroom where she grabbed her suitcase—which she’d never gotten around to fully unpacking—and started tossing any clothes outside of it back in. To say it was a haphazard mess was an understatement.

“Woah, slow down,” he said, a little startled and trying not to feel hurt. He knew it wasn’t that she was trying to get away from him, but the quickness with which she was moving was still a little surprising. He’d hoped they could take a few minutes to… something. He didn’t know.

But their last private moments together weren’t something he’d wanted to rush, even with the change in plans.

“I can’t.” She shot him an apologetic look but didn’t stop moving as she headed to the bathroom to grab her toiletries. Brian didn’t trail behind her, despite the urge. Thankfully, she didn’t take long before coming back out, her arms full of her things. “Didn’t you hear Domi? I’m lucky if I have five minutes before she comes looking for me, and if she goes to my villa… where I am obviously not…” Her voice trailed off as she dumped everything into her suitcase and pulled it close, zipping it up without any care as to how well it was packed. She shot him a rueful smile.

“And this is why it’s best not to unpack everything.”

Brian opened his mouth. Closed it. He couldn’t think of anything to say. He couldn’t ask her to stay. He wouldn’t. They’d agreed to this week and this week only, and he’d already put himself out there more than once in the past… He’d promised himself he wasn’t going to do it again.

He wasn’t going to give her the chance to reject him. Again.

As she looked up at him, something flickered in her eyes. She got to her feet, and suddenly, she was pressed against him, flinging her arms around his neck.

“Thank you for this week,” she whispered right before her lips met his.

It wasn’t a sexy kiss. It was a kiss of desperation. Brian kissed her back with all the longing, all the pent-up emotions that he’d been holding back, all the wishes he’d had during the week…

Then she broke away.

“It was a really good week.” Turning away, she hurried to her bag and picked it up, pausing only to glance over her shoulder. “Thanks for letting me stay with you.”
