Without taking her eyes off the newcomer, she brushed her lips against the human’s cheek, feeling regret and…
Fear.
This was bad.
How had he even found her?
“Do you want me?” she asked the human, refusing to blink in case that asshole got any ideas.
“I wasn’t expecting you to be so forward,” he admitted, setting his hand on her thigh. “But I’m happy with whatever you’re comfortable with.”
Golden eyes slid to hers and Soraya held her breath.
The man leaning against the opposite wall of the alley took a drag of his cigarette but didn’t make a move toward her. She had no idea what that meant, but it might just give her the time she needed to make sure this poor soul didn’t lose his life because of her.
“I want to put my mouth on you,” she confessed, letting her lips tickle his ear.
Something about those dangerous eyes watching her while she did this made her heart pound, but Soraya couldn’t say if it was fear or arousal. Maybe both?
“I want to get down on my knees and suck you into my mouth until you burst,” she breathed, licking her lips when the human’s breath caught. “Do you want that too?”
“Fuck, I’d be lying if I said no.” He kissed her throat and those golden eyes glimmered a warning, but all he did was take another drag of his cigarette. “We can go back to my place if you want.”
Right, she was still here with a poor, defenseless human. It wasn’t just her and that monster no matter what it felt like.
“I want to do it here first,” she confessed. “Then we can go back to your place.”
“Yeah, okay,” The human breathed, sliding his hand up her thigh to grab her ass and squeeze. “Whatever you want.”
She kissed the human’s cheek before weaving her magic into her voice. “I get down on my knees and pull you out of your pants,” she murmured, running her fingertip down his throat when his body started trembling, soaking up the sexual energy that was starting to come off of him in waves – she had a feeling she was going to need it. “I give you the most mind-blowing head you’ve ever had, and then you come so hard you nearly collapse.”
Soraya caught him when his knees gave out like she really had sucked his soul from his body. It was a shame she didn’t have the time to do it for real.
“You just remembered you have something you have to do tonight, so we’re going to reschedule our fun for another time. You’re happy about this. Now kiss me goodbye and go home. Get some sleep, and dream of me.”
The human gave her a sweet kiss and held her face like he was already halfway in love with her. “Will I see you again?”
“If you’re lucky.” She smiled, hating that she couldn’t indulge in this one the way she’d wanted to. It may be his lucky night, but it wasn’t hers.
“Next time,” he promised. “We’ll go somewhere nice, and you can take me wherever you want.”
Humans were so adorably earnest sometimes, if reckless.
“Stick to the surface streets,” she told him, pushing him down the alley. “Don’t take the subway home tonight.”
“It’s so cute that you’re worried about me,” he teased, walking backward toward the street, eyes only for her.
It was like the monster only a few feet away from her didn’t exist at all.
Soraya turned to glare at him and crossed her arms over her chest.
What was a prince of hell doing in the earthly realm, and what the fuck did he want?
He tossed his cigarette to the ground and stomped out the ember with heavy boots, the gold in his eyes so cold it burned. “That was impressive.”
Fuck her, she’d forgotten how deep his voice was.
Not that he would know who she was, but she definitely knew him.
