Looking up with just her eyes, she watched him stroke himself several times. Then she let her eyes drift closed as he fed her his cock. Closing her lips around him, she sucked as he thrust his hips forward. His fists tightened in her hair again and she lost herself in the sensations. The tug on her scalp, the growing heat pooling between her legs, and the feel of Isaac’s dick tunneling in and out of her mouth as he groaned was almost enough to send her over the edge all on their own.

He pulled back, her mouth leaving him with a wet pop. “What’s wrong?”

“Absolutely nothing! Your mouth is amazing, but I just want to feel you around me when I come.” Reaching down, he lifted her back onto his lap.

Straddling Isaac again, Kate held onto his shoulders and positioned her feet flat on the cushions. When she lifted up several inches, Isaac entered her in one fluid motion.

“Yes!” she grunted as her body acclimated to the delicious fullness. Using his shoulders for leverage, she hovered above him as he punched up into her. It quickly became fierce and carnal—an exquisite exchange of give and take. She rocked against him as he drove up deep into her, taking them closer and closer.

“Oh, fuck,” she cried out as her body tightened and the pleasure rushed up quickly, shredding her as she exploded. Isaac drove up into her several more times and then called out her name as he found his own release.

They didn’t move for several minutes, wrapped in each other’s arms as their breathing returned to normal. When he slipped out of her, she was too sated to care.

A moment later, Isaac thrust to his feet with her in his arms, magic obviously powering his legs. She wrapped her own legs around his waist, her head still against his chest, as he walked to the bathroom.

“We’ll shower and then we’ll reach out to Jack to find out when and where to meet. Since it’s close to lunch time we’ll probably meet at The Magic Plate, but I’ll check.” He lowered her feet to the floor. “You okay, Turquoise?”

“I’m more than okay. And I’m excited to fill everyone in on what the sword told me.”

She was nervous about what it told her needed to happen next and wasn’t sure they’d be able to pull it off.

EPILOGUE

Kate shut the apartment door, the envelope clutched in her hand.

“Was that Jack I heard?” Isaac asked as he came down the hall from the bedrooms.

“Yes. At lunch, I asked him if he’d go to my shop to get something for me. I figured he’d be fast and it would be safest for him.”

Taking her free hand, Isaac tugged her over to the couch. “Come sit with me.”

Gently prying the envelope from her fingers, he tossed it on the coffee table with a casual, “Later.”

Sitting, he tugged her down almost on top of him. They laughed and she shifted to straddle his lap. Cupping his bearded cheeks in her hands, she leaned in for a kiss. “I like this position.”

“I like it too.”

Their kiss was slow, not the passion that had driven them earlier in the afternoon.

“We’re missing something.” He leaned to the side to look around her.

“What are you up to?”

He pulled the coffee table closer and put his feet on it so his legs were bent. “I realized we have four positions…” He held up his fingers and ticked them off. “One is spooning. Two is side to side, your hand on my chest. Number three and four are this one.”

Kate leaned back against Isaac’s thighs, like she’d done so many times on their cramped bed in the room. He put his hand in hers, the gesture so familiar it settled something inside her.

“I’m guessing the second variation of this position is the one where we’re naked? Like we did before lunch?”

“Exactly. But if you need a refresher, I’d be happy to demonstrate again later.”

She gave him an exaggerated wink. “I’ll hold you to it!”

They were silent for a while, something they’d become so comfortable with in the last month.

When Isaac finally spoke, she could tell that he was worried. He had a small crease between his eyes, and his fingers gave hers another squeeze. Their silent form of communication.

“It’s only been forty-eight hours since we were rescued… and a lot has happened since then.” He leaned forward and kissed her softly on the lips. Just a brushing. A reassurance. “I don’t think we’ve even begun to process what we went through in the last month, but we’ve got time. I think there’s something else, though. I can almost feel your gears turning. Talk to me, Kate.”
