“I do. And likewise. See you soon.”

Zoe felt much more content knowing she would have some good company over the weekend. She called out to

Kyle, “Hey, can you get me two tickets to an opera? Anything but Don Giovanni. One scoundrel at a time,” she said softly to herself.

“Sorry, I didn’t hear that last part,” Kyle called back.

“I said, see if La Traviata is playing. It’s impossible to be in a bad mood when they sing ‘The Drinking Song.’ ”

“Verdi must have hated sopranos,” Kyle responded.

“Do you think Zoe will go along?” Maggie asked.

“It depends on how angry she is,” Annie replied.

“Let’s not forget, we don’t know why Mason had his niece follow her. He could be involved in the REBAR corruption, and it could be dangerous,” Myra suggested.

“I’m just not getting that vibe,” Annie said.

“I know. Me neither, but until we know more, I would advise Izzie to simply enjoy spending time with her friend,” said Myra.

“Well, if Izzie thinks she can scope it out, you know she will,” Maggie stated.

“True.” Annie opened her tablet and sent a message to Izzie:
