Fergus contacted one of his former colleagues at Scotland Yard and suggested that there should be an inquiry into the collapsed scaffolding that had injured Mason. As expected, it was revealed that someone had made a hole in one of the reinforcing rods, which caused the scaffolding to topple over. The perpetrator was never found, but Mason Chapman was cleared of any wrongdoing.
After two weeks of recuperation and spending time with Zoe in Cornwall, Mason decided to start a new chapter in his life. He invited Zoe to move to England. The only caveat was that they live in Cornwall together.
With no job and no real ties to New York, Zoe thought a change in scenery with someone she had grown deeply fond of was worth a shot. Annie helped Zoe get the cats to the U.K. and the three were off on a new adventure. Mason started a management company working with owners of bed-and-breakfasts and inns. Zoe got a job at a local dress shop and helped many of the women in town with fashion makeovers. Based on her recent extraordinary experiences, she also showed women how they could walk under their own power if they also felt fabulous about themselves.
And yes—Zoe and Mason got married.

Annie flew back to Miami and Fergus joined her. They went to the Aston Martin dealership and bought that beautiful car Fielder had so much wished was his. As soon as the papers were signed and the insurance company faxed over the paperwork, they hopped in the car and headed to Key West.

Myra returned to Grand Cayman, where Charles met up with her. They spent a glorious week rekindling their passion like two young lovers. Myra was very happy there was no one to hear their moans and groans, but she would ultimately recount some of the highlights with Annie. That’s what girls do with their besties.
Eight months later
The day had finally come when the Village Square Project was ready to open. It was hard to believe that the project had been the impetus of the Sisterhood’s recent adventure, which led to changes in so many people’s lives. Izzie and Yoko were surrounded by the mayor, the local shopkeepers, and the city council members for a grand ribbon-cutting ceremony. Among the spectators were all of the Sisters, including their newest member: Zoe Chapman.
