“Betyou’ve discovered shortcuts of your own?”Spencelooked at her with a speculative smile.

Kimshrugged. “Imay have added a few.”

“Feellike sharing?”

“Imay.”Kimgiggled, andSpencelaughed with her.

“Okay, how doIearn that favor?”

Kimtouched his arm. “Let’sput that in the past and look forward,Spence.”

Hebrushed the hair away from her face. “Maybea fewfriendlykisses?”Heleaned down, careful to keep his lips a breath away from hers.Kimkissed him briefly, stepping back with a smile.

“Okay, maybe a fewfriendlykisses.”

Shewatched as his lips quirked. “Andperhaps an occasional hug?” he pressed.

“Ithink we can arrange that.”Kimstepped forward and placed her arms aroundSpence’schest. “I’vemissed your hugs.”Sheclosed her eyes when he wrapped his arms around her and leaned her head against his chest for a long moment.

Spencewhispered in her ear. “Arewe exclusive, more-than-best friends?”

Shenodded, enjoying the hug a few moments longer, then pushed away. “Readyto see my new shortcut?”

Kimtook him through a circuitous route, finally stopping beside the stadium.Shelooked atSpencewith a grin. “Mygame-day route.”
