Remy frowned as he took in the dark marks under her eyes. She’d tried to conceal them with make-up. But he knew every inch of her body and she couldn’t fool him.

She looked exhausted.

As though life was weighing her down.

And that was something he couldn’t have. Isa was always sparkles and light. Living life free.

The complete opposite of him.

Her friends and their men had made it clear that they weren’t happy with the way he watched her.

Which annoyed him.

Because he wasn’t a threat to the fairy princess.

He was the ogre who watched over her, protected her . . . and eventually she would be his.

You could take her right now.

No one here is worthy of her.

Remy knew that he didn’t deserve her either.

He’d drifted for years. Never spending too long in one place. He didn’t like attachments.

They strangled him. Made him itchy and restless.

This was the first time he’d ever felt at home. Ever wanted to stay somewhere longer than a few months.

You need to make sure she knows who she belongs to.

Fuck. He wanted nothing more than to do that. To have her down on her knees in front of him, sucking him off.

To have her over his lap, his hand spanking her pert ass for having a sassy mouth, for not obeying his rules.

And there would be rules.

She wasn’t even his yet, and he had a burning need to know where she was at all times.

Isa needed someone to give her boundaries. Perhaps a Daddy. Someone who could be strict and stern when needed.

But also someone who’d let her be girly and sweet who wouldn’t crush her spirit.

Could he do that?

It had been years since he’d been with a Little, but he’d once had a softer side.

However, all of those other issues were eclipsed by oneproblem.

Remy looked around The Wishing Well. He hadn’t realized that places like this town truly existed.

Wishingbone was filled with quirky, odd people who were overly friendly.

And kinky. He glanced over at Isa’s friend Juliet. She barely talked and still curled her hand up in the clothing of people she trusted when walking through crowds.

Juliet seemed so fucking fragile that it actually hurt him sometimes to look at her.

He would break her.
