“You can do better than that,” he insisted. I added another finger at his behest and could feel my arousal coat and drip down my fingers. “Let me see.”

I slipped the wet digits out and held them up for him to inspect. My breath hitched when his mouth sank on my fingers. His enigmatic green eyes blazed with barely restrained passion as he sampled me. One second, Jonathan was sucking my pussy juice-covered fingers, and the next, he was walking off without another word.

I don’t know how long I stood there dumbfounded before Daisy stirred from her slumber.

“Kierra,” she mumbled between yawning and wiping her eyes.

“Good morning, Daisy. I’m gonna wash my hands, and then you need to potty.”

I returned half a minute later and cringed when I found Daisy and Nori wrestling in the bed. Daisy was trying to put the poor girl in a headlock.

I guess this is the prime definition of waking up and choosing violence.

“Girl, I don’t mean to be messy, but why is this stewardess flirting with Jonathan in front of your face?” Simone whispered beside me.

“The Kierra Effect,” I laughed before sipping my mimosa.

“You’re better than me. I would say something.”

“Nah, Jonathan is handling her just fine.”

“Ms. Kierra, I want some more,” Casey interrupted, pointing at the fluffy French toast on my plate. I rolled my eyes and fed him. Casey was sprawled in my lap like a fat cat on a stoop. He popped his mouth open and hummed cheerfully while chewing.

“Kiyah? Have you had enough to eat?”

“I’m stuffed like a turkey,” she complained from beside me.

Stuffed like a turkey…where did she pick that up at?

“You sound like you have the itis,” I insisted.

“I’m gonna sleep in the truck.”

“Are you going to be okay while I’m gone?” I whispered to her.

“I’ll be fine. Uncle Ant and Ms. Simone said they will take us to the movies if we behave!”

“The movies? I wish I could go,” I said with an exaggerated pout.

“Maybe next time.”

“Will you save me some popcorn?”

Kiyah’s lips curled into a smile just like Rory’s when he was about to burst my bubble.

“No way, José!”

“Simone, let’s get a plane,” Anthony said suddenly.

“Hang on one sec, Ant.” I watched Simone in amusement as she meticulously folded a page from a coloring book into a paper airplane. She sized it up before floating it across the cabin. The plane performed a swoop before nosediving into Anthony’s lap. “There’s your plane.”

He frowned before crumpling the plane in his hand. “This pregnancy has made you mean.”

“I’ll stay mean until you dye your hair back,” Simone threatened.

“I think I make an amazing blonde,” he exaggerated, running his fingers through his hair. “Help me out, Kierra.”
