My cheeks reddened, feeling everyone’s eyes on me. I immediately knelt down to pick up the mess.

“I’m sorry about that, I’ll see that he’s dealt with.” A man knelt beside me, helping me pick up the plums.

“Don’t worry about it, I got it,” I said, looking up to see a very handsome man.

“Nonsense.” He looked up at me with his gorgeous blue eyes and killer smile. “It’s the least I can do. That should have never happened.”

“It’s ok,” I said, tearing my gaze from him.

Was every man I ran into going to be drop-dead gorgeous?

We piled the plums onto the tray as he helped me stand up. His hand on my elbow was warm and comforting.

“Are you ok?” he asked while his gaze looked me up and down. “Oh, you have some plum on…”

He wiped my chin, glancing at my mouth quickly before he caught my gaze with his gorgeous eyes.

“Thank—”

“Noemi, are you ok?”

Easton appeared out of nowhere looking like sin in another amazing suit. He looked at me with concern, but I noticed the quickly narrowing of his eyes at the man who helped before he looked at me.

“Uh…yeah. I’m fine. This gentleman helped me,” I said, looking at the other guy feeling the tension between them. “I’m sorry, what was your name again?”

“John,” he said, glaring at Easton.

I had no idea what was going on but Easton had no right to be looking so delicious with a scowl on his face.

“Thanks for your help and concern, I better get back to it.” I smiled at them before heading back to the kitchen.

“That guy is a dick; I wouldn’t be surprised if he was high on something, it's not the first time he’s been rude to one of us,” one of the girls said before she went out.

“Just my luck,” I said, throwing away the plums and cleaning the tray.

“Noemi.”

I turned to see Easton coming into the kitchen.

Was he jealous?

“I’m fine, Easton,” I said, rinsing off the plate.

“I just wanted to make sure. That guy is an asshole and I told them he needs to be kicked off these mixer invites,” he said, running his hand through his hair with a scowl on his face.

“He better not come back.” Cheryl came up to us, looking me over. “Take a break.”

“No, it’s ok. I’m fine.”

“Come on, let me get you a drink.”

Easton and I spoke at the same time.

“I’m fine really, we only have thirty more minutes,” I said, drying the tray, pushing past them to get more appetizers.

I heard them talking amongst themselves before I headed out to make another round. The mixer was really dying down and only the people who had made a connection had stayed. Apparently, this is where Dom’s found subs and vice versa. Swingers also were able to find like-minded people.

The community seemed to be really supportive, and I loved that people could be who they were without hesitance. They seemed to be helpful to people just starting out and even seasoned kinky new people. As I made my rounds, I kept feeling like I was being watched. My guess was John and Easton, but when I passed the bar, there sat Vincent in all his daddy glory.
