He slides into me once more as I groan.

“You know, I think I could get used to this.” I slide my arms around his neck, reveling in his warmth.

“Me too, my little Krasavitsa. Me too.”

Extended Epilogue

One year later

Imogen

I stare at my husband, unable to believe that we did it. I’m Mrs. Khristian Petrov.

I met the man of my dreams in the most absurd of circumstances, but we found love in the end and that’s all that matters.

“You know, you should be thanking us for the rest of time,” Charlize says, breaking my reverie. “Me and Ari were the ones who bought you that voucher, if it weren’t for us, you would never have met.” She turns to Ari to get her seal of approval.

Ari nods, clapping her hands together. “Yes. I think naming your first child after us should suffice.”

“What if it’s a boy?” Charlize’s face screws up.

“Good point.” Ari takes another sip of her champagne. “We may have to rework the letters in our names.”

I reach for both their hands, tears in my eyes. “All jokes aside, if it weren’t for you, I really don’t know where I’d be. Not just finding my husband, but getting to this point. When I was at my lowest of low, you were there, always in my corner, cheering me on.”

“Duh, like we’d leave you to bat alone,” Charlize says, but I can see she’s getting teared up.

“Stop it.” Ari does let a tear slide. “You’re going to ruin my makeup.”

I pull them into a hug. “I love you guys so much.”

“Right back at ya,” they say in unison.

We pull back and I wipe my eyes as my friends smile at me. All they’ve ever wanted is for me to be happy, and I am. I finally have everything I ever wanted… well, nearly everything. We want children, but Khristian doesn't want to rush me. I also know that it would make him very, very happy, and I know I’m ready to be a Mother. I stopped taking birth control a few months back, and I can’t wait to surprise him. If it happens, it happens. Since I’ve previously been on birth control for a while, these things can take time. I’m just eager to move to the next stage of our life together. I know we only just got married, but to give him children would be the icing on the cake.

“You’re thinking about sneaking off and doing the groom, aren’t you?” Charlize shakes her head. “Honestly, Ari. We can’t take her anywhere.”

“I know,” Ariana agrees. “But we can hardly blame her, he’s a Russian hottie.”

We all laugh.

Before I can answer, the man in question stands before me and holds out his hand.

“Ladies,” he says, giving my friends a smile. “I’d like this dance with my wife.”

Oh, lord. I’ll never grow tired of hearing him say those words.

My wife.

It’s brought on a whole new meaning.

“But of course,” Charlize says as they both move out of the way.

“Congratulations,” Ariana says, giving Khristian a squeeze on the arm. “You guys are so perfect for one another.”

“Oh yeah,” Charlize pipes up. “Imi said she’d name your first child after us, because we set you up and all. Since we both have long names I thought of a compromise; Arilize. That’s both of our names together.”

I giggle and Khristian has the good grace to laugh. “We’ll keep that in mind, won’t we, my little rose?”
