“Luna,” I say.

Her gaze comes to mine. “Yes?”

“Do you trust us?”

She smiles. “I do.”

For some reason, whether it’s the loving smile, or just how fucking good this all feels with the four of us together, or just how damned much I love this woman, those two words from her hit me hot and hard all of a sudden.

I also note the way Alexsei shifts in his seat and the way Cam sits up straighter.

I’m not the only one that heard Luna say, “I do” and had a visceral reaction.

Her eyes widen. She looks from me to Alexsei to Cam. “What is all of that?” she asks, pointing a deep crimson-painted index finger at each of us.

I clear my throat. “What are you talking about?”

“You all got funny looks when I said I trust you.” She frowns and looks at each of us again. “You know that, right? I don’t actually need to know where we’re going. I love that you’re surprising me with a trip.”

Alexsei sits forward, leaning his forearms on his thighs. “I think you noticed our reactions to you saying, “I do”, sweetheart, and all of us thinking about how much we’d love to hear those words from you someday while you’re wearing a white dress and standing up in front of a bunch of our family and friends.”

Of course, Alexsei is just going to lay his heart out there.

But, it’s not just his heart.

Her eyes widen. “What?”

Cam mutters, “Even though we are making a white dress very much a lie.”

She elbows him, but then she studies him. Her lips slowly spread into a smile. She leans closer to him and says, “So, you want to marry me, Cameron?”

He rolls his eyes. “I’m just using you to get to Alexsei, Pixie. You know that.”

Her grin is big and bright, and she laughs lightly. “You are such a bad liar. You want to marry me, too,” she sing-songs. She leans in and nuzzles his neck. “You are so madly in love with me you can’t imagine living without me.”

She can’t see it, but his lips curl up in a smile. His hand comes up to cup the back of her head. “You’re very, very tolerable,” he says.

She kisses the underside of his jaw. “I love you, too, Cam. And yes, I’ll marry you someday.”

He finally lets his smile loose. “I love you, too, Luna.”

She turns to Alexsei. “And, of course, I’ll marry you someday. You’re my sunshine, Alexsei. I never want to be without you.”

He reaches out and pulls her into his lap. “I love you, goddess. I can’t wait to have my ring on your finger.”

She’s sitting sideways on his thighs and reaches out and takes my hand. “I love you so much, Owen.”

“I love you, too.” My heart feels so full in my chest. I lift her hand to my lips. “I definitely want you forever. I am definitely going to marry you. But—” Of course I’m the one with a ‘but’. “I can’t live anywhere else until Brady goes off to college. Will you wait for me?”

She smiles. “Forever.”

“A year is nothing,” Alexsei says. “No one’s going anywhere. We can wait for Brady to leave.”

Luna nods. “Exactly.”

“And if we move Luna in with us before that and have her with us twenty-four-seven, then that’s just how it goes,” Cam says with a sly smile.

Asshole. I grin at him. “Good thing Brady stays with his mom a lot, I guess.”
