‘You too, little monster,’ Alfie replied, his fingers flexing beneath my hand.

‘Repeat after me,’ Nicole said, grinning at us all.

‘I vow to love you as long as Scotland flows with whisky.’

Our voices joined in unison as we repeated her words.

‘I vow to protect you, and accept your protection, always.’

‘I vow to communicate openly to give our union strength.’

‘I will love you through the high tides and the low, riding through each ebb together until the day we no longer walk the mortal plains. And, thereafter, I vow to find you, wherever you may be.’

I could barely make it through the sentences, my eyes clouding with tears. Petros sounded as affected as I did, while Alfie spoke confidently, each work punctuated with solemnity.

‘I vow that we three shall forever be forged together—hearts, souls, and bodies.’

Alfie raised his eyebrows at the last word and sent all three of us into a fit of laughter.

‘You’re terrible,’ I said.

‘You’d both have me no other way.’ He grinned at me.

Nancy held the knotted fabric as we slid our hands out.

‘Petros, please take Harriet’s ring and hold it over her ring finger.’ My ring was forged by a local jeweller, a tiny, intricate viper wrapping my finger, clutching a diamond in its jaw.

Alfie moved behind me, wrapping his arms around me.

‘We give you this ring as a symbol of our love, like a circle, it has no beginning and no end.’

We repeated the scene with each of the men, taking turns to support and to slide the rings over their fingers. Holding hands with one of my men on either side of me, I beamed.

‘With the power that I’ve absolutely invested in myself, I pronounce you joined together in absolutely unholy matrimony. You can kiss each other silly, now.’

Alfie pulled me in for a slow, tender kiss, his tongue sweeping over my lips until Petros turned my face to his. Our kiss was full of long-awaited joy. I pulled Alfie over, and pressed his mouth to Petros’, holding their hands as they sealed our commitment. I felt like I could take on the whole wide world with them at my side.

By the time we’d finished our kiss, Nancy had slipped out of the chapel, leaving us alone.

‘I used to hide in here when I was little,’ Alfie said. ‘And not so little. It was mostly disused, a place where I could come to dream. Never in a million years did I dream I’d be lucky enough for this.’

‘Oh Alfie, darling. You deserve every ounce of happiness.’ I said, touching his arm.

‘You know what else I dreamed about?’ he asked, his eyes glinting.

‘Does it include your cock?’ Petros quipped, tipping his head.

‘Always.’

Before I knew what was happening, the men had me sandwiched between them, my wedding dress hiked around my hips as they knelt on either side of me.

I couldn’t fight the moans as Petros used his tongue against my clit, driving me wild. Alfie spread my cheeks and set his tongue against my ass, lapping at me. The joint sensation made my thighs quake.

‘That’s it, Harriet. We need our wife soaked for us because your wedding gift is to take both of us at once, right here in front of the altar.’

‘We don’t have lube,’ I moaned.

‘You’d be surprised at what you can keep in a sporran.’
