But I, very serious, reach for her hand and look at her in the eye. “I would give away all my money just to have a chance with you, Emily.”

Her crystal blue eyes quickly turn into clear oceans of sadness and disbelief. A tear runs down her shocked face,

“Is this for real, Andrew?” she asks, trying to keep herself calm and collected. “And not just a stupid joke?”

“Since when do I joke with you, Emily Mitchell?” I wipe the tears from her face, just like I did all those years ago.

I lean over the table in an attempt to kiss her, and she lets me, making me so happy that I’m the one almost crying. I am in no hurry. I explore every inch of her mouth and her lips, just enjoying the taste of her.

The kiss is also enough to awaken the beast in me. I break away from her lips and murmur, “Do you want to go to my room?”

Emily looks at me with shyness in her eyes and a naughty smile that tickles my manhood.

“I’ll take this as a yes,” I say, standing and placing a hundred-dollar bill on the table.

I take her by the hand and walk away from the bar, heading for the elevator lobby.

She shies away from me in the elevator until I take her in my arms and start kissing her.

She’s very coy, and I find it amusing that the mother of a five-year-old acts as if she were an inexperienced virgin.

“You’re not used to this, right?” I say, smiling at her lips.

She shakes her head, giggling, face red as raw beef. “Let’s just say things stopped at Patrick Shire.”

The elevator stops, and my heart also halts. “Oh, we better make this worth it.”

I lift her in my arms. Emily protests amid a profusion of giggles, and while I struggle to open the door to my room, she buries her face in the curve of my neck.

I leave the door open as I drop her on the bed. This room is smaller, paid for by the team’s wallet, and I made no opposition to it because I thought I would be alone the whole time.

I go back and close the door. Shedding my jacket and sweater, I approach her.

I sit on the edge of the bed, right beside her. “This brings back memories,” I mutter, bringing Emily’s hand to touch my chest.

“This is better than memories,” she says. “It’s happening right now.”

“I really meant it when I said I loved you, okay?” I kiss her hand, looking deep into her eyes. “I always have. I just felt that your family wouldn’t approve if we were together, but…”

“But then I turned eighteen and after that you took me to my prom,” she smiles.

“Yeah,” I say. “And no one could tell you what to do.”

Emily sits up and kisses me deeply and tenderly and moves the animal in me straight into attack mode.

“It’s hard to forgive what you did, Andrew Connoly,” she says in a whisper against my lips. “But I never stopped loving you either.”

And with that, I kiss her, ravenous as a wolf.

Before long, her back is against the mattress, and I am on top of her, finding my place in between her legs, and pressing my jeans against her jeans.

I kiss her lips, and then I kiss her chin, her jawline, her earlobes, her neck. My hands reach for the buttons of her cardigan, where I undo the buttons. Bowing my head down, I kiss her stomach. It causes her to let out a few shaky moans, and to squirm like a mermaid caught in a fisherman’s net.

I pay due attention to her belly button. She keeps her hands over her face, but I bring them down, incentivizing her to touch me. She does, timidly at first. However, she doesn’t take long to start touching my hair and my neck with pure lust, showing her desire for me in a way only she could.

I lift her shirt even more to see her breasts hidden underneath a pink bra. I slide a hand in just to feel the round, soft touch of the warm mounds kept close to her heart.

“Missed them?” she asks, trying to be sexy, but just looking cute among her giggles and fully red face.
