Elias nodded, lips wobbling. Levi turned him around and gave him a tender kiss, cradling his face in his hands and caressing Elias' cheeks with his thumbs. He melted into the touch as he did every other time, giving himself wholly to his alpha. Levi seemed to sense it, rumbling in approval as he pulled back and pressed their foreheads together.

"I love you as well, of course. All that's left is hoping we put a baby in that cute belly of yours."

Elias reared back, flushing. "What?"

Dane laughed, and Ian joined him until Elias struggled out of Levi's arms, chasing them around the mountaintop. His lips formed a smile, savoring the pure and uncomplicated fun. Something he'd never had before and looked forward to having again and again.

Forever.

Epilogue

One Year Later…

"Eli! Do you know where we put the paint I bought yesterday?"

Elias groaned, pushing his heavy body up from the couch to amble into the main room. His stomach was so large he supported it with one hand as he walked, pressing the other into his lower back. Every position was uncomfortable, and he wanted to crawl out of his skin, but this was a good pain. A worthwhile one. Elias hadn't experienced anything like it before.

Dane came around the corner, meeting him in the hallway. His alpha smiled and pulled Elias closer, showering kisses across his forehead while running one hand down his spine. Dane's fingers massaged the skin as they traveled, giving Elias' tired muscles a little slice of heaven.

"Sore?" He asked.

Elias sighed and nuzzled his face into Dane's shoulder. He didn't want to complain, but this kid was killing him ever since entering the last trimester. The day they meet their sons couldn't arrive quickly enough. Their birth was less than a month away now, and his alphas barely let him do anything other than eat his weight in whatever the hell he craved. Oh, and bubble baths. He took two a day—one in the morning and one at night.

Not to mention working from the apartment for the last two months. It was maddening, and admitting he was sore would only give them more reason to restrict his movement. Then he'd get no work done at all.

"I'll make it," Elias replied.

Dane gave him a knowing look. "Uh-huh. Come on, let's find the paint together, then you can eat another snack."

"No more snacks," Elias replied, slicing his hand through the air. "I had two in the last three hours forced upon me already. I'm good, I promise."

"If you say so, but there's plenty of food in the cooler we brought. Don't forget."

"How could I? Were you even listening?"

They walked toward the kitchen through a high archway with crown molding, maroon carpet beneath their feet. Ian was already there, working hard on installing the new cabinets. He looked sexy in those low-rise jeans with a work belt strung around his waist.

"It's on the island," Ian commented without turning around.

He was up on the ladder holding a drill in one hand and the final cabinet with the other. It looked so effortless that Elias' stomach flip-flopped at the sight of his straining muscles, but he kept a lock on his scent. That was another rule—no more sex until the baby comes.

Sigh.

Elias loitered by the entryway while Dane grabbed all the supplies he'd need and the big tub of sky blue paint for the nursery. That was the first room they wanted put together by the end of this month. His alphas deemed they'd be living here full time with their babies the moment they arrived. Elias wasn't so sure they'd make the deadline, but he kept that opinion to himself.

One baby kicked him in the ribs at the same moment, as if scolding him for bitter thinking. Elias winced and rubbed the spot, scowling down at his belly.

"You behave," he ordered.

The baby kicked again, lighter this time. Elias took it as an apology, so he rubbed the spot with care. He couldn't imagine the happiness they would bring once born, given the strong bond he already had with them in their current state. The idea of it made Elias glow with delight as he smiled and lifted his gaze.Dane and Ian were watching him closely, matching grins on their faces. Elias couldn't handle the cuteness of this moment, so he gestured to the paint supplies.

"Well, you found it. I'm going to go out on the porch to check up on Levi."

"Good," Ian replied. "Go sit down. You need your rest. Let me know if you want anything."

Elias nodded, but waved off the sentiment as he left. Ian was a mother hen on the best of days, and now that he was pregnant, he was a mother hen on steroids. It wasn't unwelcome, but it overwhelmed Elias at times. He wasn't used to others taking such intimate care of him. It'd take a while for his brain to catch up to his heart in that regard.

He ambled out the screen door off the back of the house. One prerequisite they had while searching for a house was a wrap-around porch, and Levi's task was to repaint the railings in white. It matched the window panes and accents on the edges of the navy siding. The scent of wet paint hit him in the face as the door swung shut, making Elias wrinkle his nose. His stomach flip-flopped, but he held the reaction at bay as his focus shifted to the alpha crouching a few feet away.
