“And I look like our father,” I explained, though it hardly seemed necessary to the story.“Anyway.Our parents are trapped in their wolf forms, and have been for almost twenty years.”
Tania’s eyes shimmered with sudden, unexpected tears.“Oh my… how did that happen?”
I shrugged.“We don’t know.I was about fifteen and Leo was only thirteen when it happened.They just disappeared overnight.When we found them in their shifter forms, and they didn’t change back over the weeks that followed, we put the story together, piece by piece.”
Leo slid forward on his seat and said, “From what we’ve put together, our parents must have done something to piss off a powerful witch.What, we don’t know, because they weren’t the sort of people to look for trouble.”
“Quite the opposite,” I said.“Mom was a schoolteacher and Dad a mechanic.”
Tania nodded, then stood up and walked over to a book shelf in the corner.“So, you need help reversing the spell and making them human again?”
“Yes.If it’s possible?”
She ran her finger along the bookshelf and frowned.“Why did you guys wait so long, if you don’t mind me asking?”
I glanced at Leo.We had an answer to that question, but I wasn’t sure if she was going to like it.
Leo’s lips twisted as he said.“We didn’t realize it was a witch’s doing for a long time, then when we spoke to people, like George, they said that such a curse couldn’t be reversed.”
Tania twisted to look at us, one hand on her hip.“But George sent you to me anyway.”
“Yes.He said you’re more powerful than him, and since my parents have returned to the city for a short time, he thought maybe you could help.”
She bit her lip and chewed on the luscious body part.

“They go away for long periods of time?”she asked.
Leo answered, because I was too busy trying to get my cock to settle down.
“Yeah, sometimes for months.Longer.”
She sighed, and the heaviness of her sadness filtered over and touched me.“I’m so sorry.I couldn’t imagine being without my parents.”
Leo shrugged.“We had our pack, and each other.”
Tania walked toward the spiral staircase and took a step up.“I have to find a specific book, and it’s upstairs.Can you guys wait here a minute?”

Leo was running his hands through his hair, looking frazzled and truly shaken.
I got to my feet as well, and turned to face him, a preternatural stillness falling over me.I had to force myself to swallow the inhuman growl that rose from my chest and focus on not ripping my brother’s throat out.
