“I need to feel that bare pussy milking my cock.”

Whimpering, she reached between us and shifted her panties to one side. When she lined up my cock with her pussy, I thrust home. The second I was fully seated inside her, we both groaned.

Eyes locked with hers, I pulled out and slid inside her again, and I swore I could see into her soul. With every thrust, a small part of me left my body and moved into hers. Like we were being woven together so deeply it would forever be impossible to tell where she started and I stopped. I pressed her hard into the wall, slamming into her, desperate for a deeper connection. As the pounding pressure spiked in my blood and need raced through me, my breath came faster.

“Don’t stop,” she said. “Harder, Chris. Please.”

With my lips over hers, I quieted her sounds as I buried myself as deep as I could go again and again until, finally, her tight pussy pulsated around me. I swallowed the moan that worked its way from deep inside her. The sound and the way she trembled in my arms sentme into a frenzy. I thrust faster and harder until euphoria swamped me. It hit with so much force I had to lock my knees to keep us upright.

“Avery.” Her name left my lips like a prayer. I pressed her hard against the wall, needing the extra support. My arms shook as I buried my face in her neck and inhaled that heavenly scent of cake and her. Neither of us moved for a long time. We stayed wrapped together, breathing hard, soaking in the moment for as long as we could. That hard yank that I’d been feeling so often in my chest pulled at me. I wanted to stay like this forever.

“I didn’t hear anything at all.” Emerson’s voice broke through my haze of pleasure. “I very much doubt anyone is in the closet.”

Fuck me. A new kind of adrenaline kicked in then. Maybe we were louder than I thought.

I swallowed thickly, focusing on holding her up and keeping us still. Avery looked at me, wide-eyed and released her legs from around my waist. Gently, so as not to make any noise, I lowered her to her feet, but I kept her pressed to my chest.

“Sometimes we get rats down here. But I’m good at scaring them away. I’ll check it out.”

“Have you seen Dragon?” one of the assistant coaches asked. “He isn’t at his locker, and Coach is pissed.”

“No, man. Haven’t seen him,” Emerson called from just outside the door. “If I do, I’ll let him know he needs to hit up his locker and that the reporters are waiting for him.”

“Why are you out here with all the tunnel lights off?” The man’s voice sounded closer too.

Avery’s body went more rigid in my arms. But I wasn’t worried. My teammates would cover for me. They had all season.

“I just like being in the dark, man. It’s cool and quiet out here. It helps my Zen.” There was a long pause, then, “I’d get my pants on and get into the locker room if I were you, Dragon. I might be able to convince that dumbass that it’s rats, but Wilson isn’t a moron.”

I shook my head at my roommate, but I couldn’t help but chuckle.

Avery buried her face against my chest and giggled. “You better go.”

After one more slow kiss to her lips, I pulled up my pants andadjusted myself in the girdle. “I’ll make sure Emerson lets you know when it’s clear.”

And with a smile stuck to my face, I slipped out the door. Today had been fucking perfect.

I triedto shimmy to the edge of the bed, but the heavy arm wrapped around my waist pulled me tight against the solid chest behind me.

“No,” Chris mumbled into my neck. “Five more minutes.”

“You’ve said that three times already.”

“I’ve been back for four days, and this is the first time I haven’t had to be at the stadium by seven. Give me a few more minutes to enjoy all this smooth skin.” He buried his face in my hair and splayed a hand over the bare skin of my stomach.

I spun to face him. “I’ve got to get a few hours of work in before we meet my dad for lunch.”

A trickle of dread ran through me at the thought of talking to Dad today. He’d be annoyed that I’d broken his rule about dating a player, but my hope was that he’d take it in stride once I assured him that this wasn’t a fling, and it wouldn’t cause drama for him or the Revs.

“You may have a day off, but I didn’t get that lucky,” I reminded him.

He frowned but leaned in and gave me a quick kiss. “Fine. We’ll get up.”

When I’d finally gotten out of bed, I swiped a pair of his sweats off the floor. “I’m stealing a shirt.”

“Good luck. It’s laundry day. I’m not sure I have a single clean shirt in the place.” He laughed as he headed into the en suite bathroom.

I yanked open his T-shirt drawer, only to find it completely empty. Shutting it again, I moved on. When I pulled open the top drawer, my stomach lurched, and I froze. It was full of underwear and his wallet. Plus three boxes of the rose-gold Sharpies he always carried nowadays. And folded beside the box was what looked like a woman’s shirt.
