My lust-filled gaze shot to his amused expression, immediately washing away all the desire I felt for him. However, his dick decided to stand at attention and present that he wasn’t just a shower but a grower as well. Once again, it incited the lust to run through my core at a speed I could no longer control or deny when it came to him.

“What did you think was going to happen when you’re looking at my dick like you want to deep throat it?”

I ignored his question and perfect dick as I walked to the corner of the room where there was a rack of clothing for me his stylist brought earlier that morning.

“I need to get dressed if you’re making me do this photo shoot with you.”

An hour later, I stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling mirror in the bedroom, wearing a white lace dress and swallowing the huge lump in my throat. Today, I would pretend to be the future Mrs. Sinclair. Until then, it was all him, but now I had to get involved; it was the hardest pill to swallow. In the forefront of my mind, I knew this was fake.

However, in the back of my mind, it felt very much real.

“You look gorgeous, beauty,” Elias breathed out, suddenly standing behind me.

Our stares locked through the mirror in front of us. He wore a black suit, looking as handsome as ever. We looked like this was our engagement party, and it wasn’t sitting well with me. I hated lying, and this was only the beginning of this charade he singlehandedly orchestrated.

He smiled, moving my hair to the side before laying a soft kiss on the back of my shoulder, sending shivers down my spine.

He adoringly added, “I have something for you.”

I couldn’t help myself. “What? Is it something I’m going to like, or is this more lies? Did you tell the press I’m pregnant?”

He grinned again. “Don’t give me any ideas.”

I rolled my eyes. “Is it going to make me want to strangle you more than I already do right now?”

“Turn around and find out.”

I groaned, anxious he was going to try to pull the rug out from under me.

“I promise it’s something you’ll love.”

“Fine.” With a defeated expression, I turned around to face him, waiting for the other shoe to drop, which was probably more like a thousand-pound anvil falling on my head.

As soon as I saw him pull a Cartier ring box out of the inside of his suit jacket, I loudly gasped. He was still wearing his band. He never took it off now, and we’d yet to discuss why he even still had it.

He didn’t pay me any mind, ordering, “Let me see your hand.”

I adamantly shook my head. “No.”

“Beauty…”

I inhaled one more deep breath, lifting my right hand.

He ordered, “Your other hand.”

“If this is what I think it is, I’m definitely going to want to strangle you.”

Instead of raising my left hand for him, he reached over and grabbed it himself.

“Elias…”

“Relax, I know my wife.”

I ignored his remark, following the movement of his fingers as he opened the box. There in front of my eyes was an oval-shaped diamond that was exactly the kind of ring I once told him I wanted when he proposed to me. Except this one was at least seven karats.

I gasped at its beauty, staring at the ring in amazement. “I can’t believe you remember.”

“I remember everything. Especially when it comes to you.”
