I leaned against the wall and slipped my hands into my pockets. “Let your sister know that Anchorage, Alaska might be a good place to settle next for her career. I don’t believe I have contacts in that area of the country yet.”

And when Eden froze in place between my aching cock and her only exit, I knew I had her right where I wanted her.

“This is blackmail.”

“Call it whatever you like.”

She turned back around, “There’s nothing else to call it.”

“I want something. You want something. This is a business deal, pure and simple.”

“I’m a lawyer, not a whore.” She whispered.

“You’re right, Eden. You’re not a whore.” I say lowly as I walk forward and circle her now, breathing in that rich vanilla scent of her skin, taking in her little gasps and breaths as I step closer to her. “You’re a woman who needs my…services. And those services come at a price, pure and simple.”

“I fight for what’s right with my brains and my heart, not with…this.” She says pointing at her chest and I try my best not linger too long on those breasts that are begging to be between my lips.

“Don’t act so pious, Ms. Rochere. It doesn’t suit you.”

“I’m not being pious. I’m an educated woman who doesn’t need to trade sex for favors.”

“And yet, if a sex worker came to you for help, you’d build her up and protect her rights to choose sex and money as a fair exchange of currency, am I correct?” I ask, tossing a strand of her hair behind her shoulder as she watches my movements.

“I’ll defend anyone who’s deserving.” She says in a breathy tone.

“Even if that woman is a ‘whore’, as you put it?”

“Yes.”

“Good.” I nodded, “Because I’m an innocent man, Eden. Your sister wronged me and as far as I know, that boy wronged one of my friends. So fight for it if you think it’s right. I think sex as currency is rather modern than archaic. It’s also more of a…tantalizing way to get what you want.” I say, whispering into her ear as I step back around to face her.

Her wide eyes watch me and I can see the battle in them. The battle between doing what she’s always done and giving in to something new.
