“Enzo?”
“Yes.”
I pause for a moment before pushing on his shoulder, urging him to roll over and he does so until we’re face to face.
His eyes are half lidded, yet he seems to be giving me all his attention. I reach up, running my finger beneath the cut on his face as my brother’s words move through my head.
As that fucking sick feeling hits me again.
I meet his eyes. “I’m sorry.” I think the words should taste bitter, but they don’t, instead they’re sweet. And I feel them with my whole being.
Enzo’s lips tip up in a smile and he leans forward placing a chaste kiss on my cheek, leaving my skin sizzling. His eyes flutter closed. “I know.”
He drifts off and the warm feeling in my body continues to burn. Looking at the cut on his face, I make a promise to him even though I know he can’t hear me.
“I’m going to get the people who attacked you, every single last one of them.”
Because I don’t give a fuck what route my brother wants to take, when I come for Seven Quad I won’t leave a single person standing.

If you’ve been following me on my socials, you know that I had a hard time getting this book completed for so many reasons. I want the conclusion to be as close to perfect as possible and there’s so much to wrap up as far as both plot and character arcs. Therefore, I had to split this book up into TWO PARTS. This is part 1 and it sits at 50K words, which is still novel length.
This is about 45% of the book, because I had to pick the best spot to split it up that made sense. If I would have cut it off right at the 50% mark, it would have been on a slower chapter with no acute tension, so I cut it off after Chapter 18.
Part 2 will be coming out very soon, the release date on the pre-order is just a place holder. You can sign up to be notified of part 2’s releasehere.
If Amazon allows, I will update Part 1 to the completed story. If not, I’ll publish the full book under “Part 2” and take down “Part 1”. This will only affect KU readers. Anyone who has bought the book will still have their copies.
