“Are you ready for me?” I purred, my warm breath skimming her ear.

Breathless, she could only nod in response.

We tumbled together onto a dusty desk, heedless of the protests from aged wood. Our playful laughter soon turned to fervent cries as we honored ancient rites of lust and bonding. I traced every beloved curve and valley, committing her exquisite topography to eternal memory.

She returned my ardor measure for measure, lavishing my monstrous form with a worship I scarcely deserved. Eagerly, my hands eased along her sensuous thighs, pushing up her pleated skirt as I slipped into the space between her parted knees.

“Gods, I want you now...” I uttered in a low, husky voice.

Seraphina’s response was a passionate sigh, and I took it as the invitation it was. Delving ever deeper, I found the source of her pleasure and eager lips followed my hands along this most exquisite of roads. I then tasted the wildflower sweetness of her desire as I traveled further still.

My betrothed’s eyes blazed with feverish hunger. She gasped, managing a single word that filled me with unbridled joy—“Yes!”.

With that oneyesI felt my world expand. My kiss lingered longer in the place of her pleasure, until Seraphina’s moan of release signaled the peak of delight.

I then pulled her to me, roughly, surrounded her with my strong arms, and lifted her so that her voluptuous legs hung around my waist. Our mouths collided in urgently needful kisses, my hold tightening around her generous curves.

My aroused tail coiled around her bare thigh, its ridged texture an enticing contrast to her smooth skin.

“Do you want me now?” I purred, my warm breath skimming her ear.

“Uh-huh...” Seraphina quietly answered, and I gently rocked into her, reveling in the beautiful gift that was her.

Seraphina’s body trembled and her arms tightened around my neck as wave after wave of pleasure coursed through us both. We were one, entwined in the beauty and wonder that is love. No longer two, but one... my very existence, saturated in the joy that could only be found in the presence of my beloved.

“Gods,” I moaned, my being overwhelmed by a flood of sensation. We moved together in blissful harmony, resplendent in the moment as if dancing in the stars.

“Oh gods, that’s it… You fit me so well...”

Our lips melded, and her gentle sighs mixed with my ardent moans as we rode the waves of pleasure, each crest higher than the last.

“Yes,” she breathed, that one word once again unlocking a secret paradise.

At long last, I plunged deeper within her, claiming her in absolute hunger. We soared into the night, until the stars themselves knew our bliss, until my body could no longer contain the tides of ecstasy crashing inside me, begging to be free. We moved as one, my tail wrapping snugly around her waist to prolong our blissful union.

“Fuck… yes!” I growled, my own release ripping out of me. My body trembled with the force of it. Yet Seraphina held me close, as if sheltering me from a storm. And with one final, full-throated cry, I spilled my essence deep inside her, and reveled knowing that Seraphina was now, and forever, mine. My love for her soared as we soared, lost in the rapture of each other until we both collapsed, exhausted and overwhelmed, into each other’s arms.

We lay there, in a daze, breathing in the scent of us and savoring that blessed moment of union and oneness. At last, I looked up and met my beloved’s gaze. The love that I had been certain of before was even stronger now, if that were possible. “Gods… I love you,” I managed between ragged breaths. “I love you so much.”

Seraphina’s lips stretched in a lazy smile, and her eyes glowed with the same feeling of adoration, joy, and contentment swelling inside me.

“And I loveyou,” she whispered, her soft voice like music to my ears.

For a time, we lay there in happy silence, drifting away in our own little world, surrounded by the love that bound us. Nothing else mattered.

Only us.

CHAPTER20

Sera

Butterflies swirledin my stomach as I hurried through the halls towards the entrance gates. Today, Lily and I were venturing into Wellsprings to search for my wedding dress. In just a few days, I would stand beside Rhys, pledging myself to him for eternity before all the realms. The thought was both terrifying and exhilarating.

My nimble steps faltered briefly as a pang of unease shot through me. Ever since Rhys and I had consecrated our bond privately ahead of the ceremony, an irrational dread sometimes pierced my joy—a sense that cosmic forces continued working against us. The premonition always slipped away swiftly, but its icy touch lingered for hours.

I shook my head, banishing the melancholy mood. Paranoid fantasies would not spoil this day. Lily awaited me eagerly in town, nearly as thrilled for the dress excursion as I secretly was. My pragmatic father had given me an open budget, moved by my radiant joy. I was determined to find a gown as unique as the love that inspired it.

Lost in pleasant daydreams, I rounded a shadowed corner and crashed abruptly into an elegant figure only just visible in the gloom. I stumbled back, stammering apologies until my eyes adjusted and beheld the stern visage of Headmistress Blackthorn. My pulse stuttered—she was the last person I wished to meet today.
