He finishes his drink. “In my world, yes.” Then, as he sets the glass in the sink, he nods at the box of mac and cheese. “Not your thing?”

There’s no way I’m going to sleep on my own. So, I get up and go to his room just as he’s about to turn off the light, and I strip off the shirt and slide into bed.
