“Just spooked. You never told me you had a pet pig.”

Wyatt lets out a deep sigh. “Must’ve slipped my mind last night. I was a little distracted,” he says, pulling away and then brushing my lips with his thumb.

“I’m a little distracted now too.” My eyes rake across his body, and when I meet his gaze again I see that perfect smile. The one that still lights my body up after all these years.

“Maybe I could focus your attention upstairs. Or how about on that table? I wouldn’t mind my breakfast laid out for me.”

He drags his hand down my throat and across my sternum before slipping it inside my dress and cupping my breast.

“I’m not sure I’d be able to fill you up.”

He caresses my neck with his lips. Nipping and kissing and licking as his beard scratches softly against my skin.

“You’re more than enough for me, Mia.” More kisses. My mind’s going haywire all over again as I dig my fingers into his thick arms and something thick slides against my thighs. “But I’m going to be the one filling you up.”

This man. This… bacon! The fire alarm blasts as the bacon smokes from the stove and the pig starts squealing and scurrying around the kitchen.

“Got it,” Wyatt says, hopping into action.

I know I should help, but I feel like I’ve already caused enough chaos this morning. I need to step aside and let Wyatt take control. And take control he does.

I can’t stop staring at his bare ass as he moves through the kitchen, removing the pan from the stove and opening up a few windows. Some people travel the world to see all the wonders. Turns out all I had to do was come home to see the last one on the list. Those cheeks… But no one will see them but me.

No. One. Butt. Me.

Wyatt turns around and wipes his brow. “Any more surprises for me, Mia?”

I shake my head. “None that I’m aware of.”

Wyatt’s smile drops as his face blanches. “What time is it?”

I shake my head. “I don’t know. Your field hands are out and about, so sometime after that.”

“Shit.”

Almost on cue, there’s noise at the front door. A few voices, laughter, and the sound of boots.

“Luke,” Wyatt says.

“Naked,” I say, pointing.

“Dad!” Luke calls out from the front of the house.

“Luke. Buddy. Guy. How are you?” Wyatt says as he heads for a doorway off the side of the kitchen.

“Great,” he says, his voice becoming louder as he moves toward the kitchen. “I had so much fun at Uncle Reid and Aunt Daisy’s.”

I stare at Wyatt as he peeks out from the doorway, mouthing a plea for some answer to what I should be doing.

“Oh great,” he says. “I’m… doing some laundry, bud. I’ll be with you in a second. I’ve got someone I want to introduce you to.”

I raise my hands, straining as I try to figure out what in the world I’m supposed to do.

“Hi,” Luke says from behind me.

I turn, plaster on my biggest smile, and greet him.

“Hi, Luke. It sounds like you had a great time.”
