I whimpered.
Wind. Frost. Lightning. The hairs on the back of my neck straightened with the static.
I could feel his lips on my ear shape-shift into a devious smile.
Sam moved lower, slower.
His warm tongue drew a thin, wet line from my earlobe all the way down to my collarbone. Then he exhaled back over the trail; his warm, gentle wind caressing my skin. When he returned to my earlobe, he blew cold air all the way down that line.
I shuddered and my soft breathy moans peppered the air.
Electricity. Fire. Ice. The elements of lust flowed through my body and brought me to life with their sinful energy. All I could do was helplessly conduct the overwhelming sensations.
It was too much…
“Please…” I begged breathily.
“Pleasewhat?”Sam asked. His strong, firm hands moved down the sides of my body teasingly.
I couldn’t form the words to ask for what I wanted. I didn’t even know what I wanted specifically, only—
“More…”
He chuckled, a low, primal sound that only thickened my want for him. “That’s a yes, then?”
“It’s an oh.”
“I need a yes,” he insisted, pinning me against the wall with his gaze.
Even here in the dim, silvery moonlight, I could see the pleading in his eyes. The furious, wild desire fighting for freedom from the cage of his seasoned self-control.
I wanted to unleash it.
I wanted to open Pandora’s Box, dive straight to the bottom, and get the good stuff.
I wanted him inside me.
“Yes.”
He smiled like the cat that got the cream.
I saw the flash of silver as he ran his tongue along his teeth.
Sam slipped his hand behind my back and I let out a surprised shriek as he swept me off my feet.
I giggled as my head whooshed back.
Sam chuckled lightheartedly.
This wasn’t serious; this wasn’t real.
This was just fun.
His strong forearms held me effortlessly as he carried me deeper into the dark, cavernous house.
My eyes licked his strong jaw, his thick neck, and the tan skin at the edge of his shirt collar.
I wanted to kiss every inch of it.
