I took her mouth as I took her cunt, thrusting my hips with her legs tucked into my ribs, my fingers tangled in her hair. She was warm and wet and whispering in my ear, the sting of her nails on my back sweet as she spurred me on. The tug deep in my belly set a prickling across my skin, squeezed my lungs, dimmed my vision. Pulled me deeper.

Stopped my heart.

I went blind, my vision flashing, ass pumping, cock throbbing, pouring myself into her drop by drop until I was empty, and she was full.

I collapsed onto her, slick with sweat and trembling. It was all too much. And it wasn’t enough. And she was everything.

And she was mine.

I kissed her so deep, I knew she knew it, too. And when my heart had slowed enough to function without having a heart attack, I broke the kiss.

“We’ve gotta go,” I said before kissing her again.

She whined into my mouth.

“Cass is getting married today.”

Her eyes widened, and she blinked. “Shit. We’re late.”

I laughed. “We’re so late.”

“And she knows.”

My smile fell instantly. “Shit.”

“Yeah. We need to shower.”

I pulled out of her and climbed out of bed, then picked her up before she had a chance to get up.

“Come on. We’ll get cleaned up, get to the church, and let her yell at us.”

“I really, really wish we had more time,” she said as I set her down next to the tub.

I smiled at her, lifting her chin with my thumb and forefinger. “Duchess, we’ve got all the time in the world.”

Remy and I stood hand-in-hand outside the church, staring at the massive wooden doors.

“Think she’ll throw anything?” he asked.

“No. We’re taking photos too soon for her to risk hitting one of us in the face. I wonder what Henry told her?”

He stared at me. “You let Hank tell her?”

“Well, yes because...oh!” I’d forgotten he didn’t know. “Oh.” I’d forgotten I couldn’t tell him. “Trust me, Henry is not an issue for you.”

His face quirked. “How can you be so sure?”

“Because...of reasons I can’t share because it’s not my secret. You do trust me, don’t you?”

Remy sighed, but he was smiling. “I do.”

“Good. I promise, he told her the right thing. He owes me. Come on,” I said, tugging him toward the doors before he could ask more questions. “Time to face the music.”
