My arms tightened around her, plastering our naked bodies together. “Never,” I growled.

“I love hearing that, but I meant for today. I have a ton of stuff to do before I meet the girls to get ready.”

The wedding. Right.

“On one condition,” I conceded.

Brielle giggled. “What’s that?”

“You shower with me before you go.”

She looked up at me through her lashes, her lips curved in a cute little smirk. “If I must,” she said with a dramatic sigh.

I slapped her ass, then jumped out of bed before picking her up and tossing her over my shoulder. After thoroughly dirtying her up—twice—I washed us both, then we began to get ready for the day.

After dressing in one of my T-shirts and a pair of my athletic shorts, Brielle grabbed her phone, and her pretty mouth curled into a frown. I hoped Avery wasn’t giving her a hard time about disappearing last night. I didn’t want to be a wedge between them, but my control had snapped, and I couldn’t wait.

I was about to ask when she put her phone to her ear. A male voice started speaking, and irrational jealousy burned in my chest. I would always be possessive over Brie, but my emotions were still raw from the past few days.

I stalked over to her, intending to take the phone and order whoever the fuck he was to forget my woman existed. But I paused in front of her when she lifted her head and watched me with amusement sparkling in her eyes. Then she pulled the phone away and tapped the screen, ending what I suddenly realized had been a voicemail.

“That was my uncle Jonah,” she said with a smirk.

Ahhhh. Now I understood. At least she was amused and not freaking out over how far I’d gone to find her.

“He wanted to warn me that you were searching for me. But he also said I could trust you and that you’re a lot like my dad.”

She beamed, and I sent a silent thank you to my friend. Nothing would convince Brielle to be with me more than knowing I would love her the way her dad loved her mom.

Her cheeks turned pink, and she stepped close, locking her arms around my neck. “Maybe I shouldn’t, but I find it kinda hot that you went to such lengths to look for me.”

“And now that I’ve found you, I will never let you go.”

“Good.” Her expression was jubilant, and she looked so gorgeous, I knew if I didn’t let her go quickly, we’d be right back in that bed again.

“Go,” I growled as I turned her around toward the door and gave her sexy ass a light swat. “While I’m still able to let you.”

She blew me a kiss over her shoulder right before she waltzed out the door, and I chuckled. “So fucking adorable.”

A soft breezeruffled my hair as I walked down to the beach where they’d set up for the ceremony. Everything looked beautiful, and I wondered if Brielle would like something like this for our wedding.

Damn, I’d missed my woman all day. I couldn’t wait to see her.

My sister waved at me, and I smiled in greeting as I sat down next to her.

“Gabe tells me you’re next,” she whispered.

I rolled my eyes, then glared at my nephew, who waited at the altar for his bride. “Your son has a big mouth.” It seemed Gabe had guessed what we were discussing because he grinned unrepentantly at me.

Amy laughed. “I think he was trying to divert my attention away from when he’s going to make me a grandmother.”

Soft music began to play, bringing all conversation to a halt.

One by one, the bridesmaids traversed the aisle and took their places at the front. When it was Brielle’s turn, everything around me faded away. She was all I could see. Wild blond curls, gorgeous blue eyes, sexy lips, and mouthwatering curves that were accentuated by her spaghetti-strapped, flowing pink dress. I had a moment of irritation when she walked past and I noticed the almost completely open back. A sash thing tied in a bow across the middle, but the skirt seemed like it was barely hanging on to her delectable ass. It was something we’d discuss later…when I ripped the dress off her and threw it away.

When Brielle reached her spot, her gaze strayed to the area where I was seated. Our eyes met, and I saw everything Iimagined she could see in mine. She beamed at me, and I was so lost in her that I barely noticed the ceremony had begun.

When Brielle reached out to take Avery’s bouquet, the movement broke my trance, and I finally focused on the bride and groom. As they spoke their vows, I pictured Brielle and myself in their place. I glanced back at my girl, and her dreamy expression as she listened to their promises of love had warmth blooming in my chest. Then she looked at me, and I knew I wouldn’t be able to wait to make her officially mine.
