FAITH

Where in the world is Faith Waters?

The socialite hasn't been photographed in weeks. Not only that, but apparently our super sleuths noticed she stopped posting to socials. A new blind item suggests she's hiding in the countryside with a swoony billionaire. Keep your eyes out for her and send us a pic.

- Toodle loo, lovies

The message popped onto our screens the second we stepped off the High Roller.

“Fuck,” Sebastian uttered, scrolling through his phone and demanding answers from Beck.

The man paced as if ready to defend me against all the evils in the world.

Harrison placed one phone call and got us access to the back entrance of the hotel we were staying at. The man jumped in to help when Sebastian explained to him my current situation—the one that had me hiding from the paparazzi. Harrison, completely appalled, insisted on ramping up our security. Luckily, Beck was there, so Sebastian turned down the offer. He did, however, accept Harrison's offer to call ahead to alert the hotel. Beck would have done it too, but Sebastian would take all the extra support he could get.

In that moment I saw Sebastian look at Harrison as a man, and not just a prospective client. Honestly, if I had to guess, Sebastian putting my safety first gained Harrison's trust. More so than the hours of conversation they'd just endured.

The tension in Sebastian's shoulders hadn’t lessened until we entered our hotel suite and received the message from Beck's team.

Beck excused himself the second it came in, calling his contacts and trying to get a hold of the owner of the Instagram account who posted the info.

"I'll get to the bottom of this," he promised. "In the meantime, you're two thousand miles away from home, which means people won't be looking for you here."

Sebastian hastily unbuttoned his suit jacket. "They better fucking not."

The second the door closed behind Beck, I pointed to Sebastian. "Sit down." It wasn't a request. I marched over to the mini bar and grabbed us each a soda water.

Sebastian shot me a curious look.

"Alcohol is the last thing we need right now."

He twisted the top of his bottle. "Fair enough."

I stood there, transfixed as his Adam's apple bobbed up and down. The man finished half the bottle before setting it down on the nightstand.

Worry lines etched his face. Worry for me.

We couldn't have any of that. Between the hotel security, Beck, and Sebastian at my side, I felt confident we had nothing to worry about right now. We'd have some time to figure out safety at home.

Home. Sebastian's house felt like home.

I unlocked my phone and put on some music. Some moody singer crooned from my small speakers, and I started swaying my hips to the beat.

Sebastian stared at me, not moving an inch.

My fingertips danced at the hem of my dress, lifting it slowly before letting it drop.

Sebastian hissed in disappointment.

I continued to move my body, closing my eyes, and letting myself feel the music. My hands combed through my hair, letting the tendrils loose around my face.

I lifted my heavy lids long enough to find Sebastian entranced. Shifting his body in his seat. His throbbing length strained against his slacks.

I slid down one strap of my dress, revealing my bare shoulder. A bra wouldn't work with this dress, so I hadn't bothered with one.

"Come closer," Sebastian said, his voice like gravel.

I ignored him, my fingers playing with my other strap.
