I cackled. Oh, this was going to be good. I glanced up from my phone to see Luna and Beck still going at it, so I went back to texting Daisy.

Tell me EVERYTHING.
Daisy proceeded to text me the whole story and she and my brother arrived approximately thirty minutes later.
Luna excused herself the second my brother arrived. But not before sending Beck one last withering look. If looks could kill...Beck would be six feet under.
The man just smirked the entire time, evidently loving every second of needling my new friend.
Dominic hugged me immediately. Then dragged me to the couch. Sebastian emerged from his office to sit next to me.
A sense of déjà vu enveloped me.
This time, the man easily slid his arm around my shoulder. I felt my brother’s eyes on me the whole time.
“That answers my first question,” my brother said.
I frowned. “Huh?”
He pointed to me and Sebastian. “You’re still together. This thing between you is still happening.”
“Of course it is,” I said fiercely, looking up at Sebastian for backup.
But the face he gave me did nothing to reassure me. A storm of uncertainty brewed in his eyes. A frown marred his otherwise perfect lips.
“The woman that took the photo-”
“Brittney,” I chimed in.
“Brittney,” Sebastian continued. “She sent it directly to the Instagram handle shelling out info about Faith.”
Dominic released a frustrated groan. “I assume you’re tracking her.”
“I’m monitoring all her internet movements.”
My brother gave a solitary sharp nod. “You do know this means they will be tracking down info on you, right?”
Sebastian stiffened next to me. “I’m well aware.”
“We will be going public tomorrow to take some of the heat off you.”
