“Yeah, like forty minutes on a good day.”

He nods, his eyes tracking past me, his lips curling into a grin that’s probably being fired at another woman.

Shit. I’m losing him already.

Because you’re talking about drive times!

“Can I get you a drink or something?” As soon as the words leave my mouth, I spot the Solo cup in his hand and wince.

He laughs, raising it in the air before gulping it down, then licking his lips and grinning. “Sure, let’s get a drink.”

My laughter comes out as more of a bark, but he doesn’t seem to mind as he heads for the kitchen. I glance over my shoulder and spot Lani on the side of the room. She gives me a thumbs-up and I nod, quickly chasing after Casey and what will hopefully be the best night of my life.

CHAPTER 2

CASEY

This chick following me to the kitchen is something else.

I’m surprised I haven’t seen her around before, but Nolan U is a big enough school. There are plenty of chicks to be had, and I haven’t made my way through all of them yet.

This one, though… not only is she hilarious, but holy hell, she’s one hot thing. That red hair was enough to make my dick stand to attention before she even reached me. I’ve always had a thing for redheads. Don’t even know why. I just love how bright their hair always looks. And hers is luscious, man. Big wide curls spilling over her shoulders.

And her tits.

Shit. They are awesome!

If I could personally thank a dress, I would. I’d drop to my knees and praise those blue sequins for gifting me that cleavage. I’m surprised every guy in this place isn’t drooling as we walk past them. It kind of makes me want to grab her hand and show them all that she’s with me.

But I’m not the claiming kind.

She can be with whoever the fuck she wants.

Because I want to be able to say the same thing.

Tonight, though, she seems to be into me, and I may as well take advantage. I want to see if the curtains match the drapes. I want to run my tongue over those mountainous fun bags and see if they taste as good as they look.

“So, what’s your flavor?” I stop at the keg, resting my hand on it.

She wrinkles her nose. “Not beer. I hate beer.”

I raise my eyebrows, kinda surprised. How can anyone hate beer?

“I’m more of a mixer girl.” She points behind me. “Actually, I bought those Malibus right there. I’ll take the last one.”

Spinning, I eye up the little cans and take the last one out of its cardboard packaging. I pop the top for her and pass it over before refilling my cup.

As soon as it’s full, I raise it in the air. “To fancy-ass drinks and sorority parties.”

She laughs and taps her drink against mine.

Shit, I should probably find out her name, right? I won’t remember it tomorrow, but it’s worth learning it for this party.

I lean in close so she can hear me over the music. “So, what should I call you?”

“Oh, uh… Caroline. I’m Caroline.”

“Nice.” I step back so I can drink in her lush body again. “I would tell you my name, but I get the feeling you know way more about me than most people do.”
