“And I just met him on top of that,” I point out and they all laugh. “Trust me, time is something these men don’t have on their radar, they go at their own pace.”

“We all were pregnant and moved in with our men within a month, most of the time.”

That does ease some of the worries that I had, not that they were dire in the first place.

We are using the dining room table to sit at. I wanted everyone to be seated together so we can all get to know each other.

Terror brought in a small little mini table for the little ones and it’s the cutest. “You know what we haven’t done in a long time?” Nicole asks.

We all look to her, and she grins wickedly. “A girls’ night, well a day now since we all have children at this point, and it’s harder to break routine.”

I would love that. “I would be down, if I’m invited.” I don’t want to assume that I was included in that.

River hugs me, shocking me. “You’re just the cutest. You’re one of us now and we all take care of each other. It takes a village, yeah?”

I think I’m really going to love these girls, this life. I always wanted a big family. Family doesn’t always necessarily mean blood and Terror has surrounded himself in that.

It makes me happy that he has such an amazing support system. Thirty minutes pass and the door is pulled open, the men coming in with platters of food and setting it in the center of the dining room table.

“Ready to eat?” I help River to stand, who is very pregnant. I’m sure she would have to roll over to get up to her feet.

“I’m famished, the burgers are calling me,” Julia groans rubbing her stomach, it grows hard for me to not reach out to touch her tummy.

Their men come and help them to their seats. I help gather the kids and lead them to their little table.

We get their food first and I make sure they’re in tiny bites for the toddlers, so they don’t choke.

Penny and Annie sit at the little seats too and it’s cute. “We will help them.”

“You girls are precious.” I touch the top of their heads and move to sit beside Terror.

They have done such an amazing job with those girls. “Wow, this looks amazing.” River’s eyes are on the steaks that are piled up high.

I laugh and help her gather her food onto her plate, then we all pass around platters, waiting until everyone has their food before we start eating.

It’s silent for a moment while everyone digs into their food. “I think we should start doing this weekly, have family dinner?” River suggests.

Gage places his hand on the back her neck. “We can make that happen. We can switch houses every week?” He looks to his brothers and they all nod.

I smile down at my plate, reaching under the table and place my hand on Terror’s leg, happy and feeling much better about everything. It’s kind of hilarious that I was so worried.

I hear a few of the little girls giggling and I peek over to see ketchup smeared across their cheeks.

“You know, we should go riding on the side-by-sides after dinner. I do have the babysitter at the clubhouse,” River says.

Terror puts his arm around the back of the chair. “I would love that. Since half of the women here are knocked up and can’t get on our bikes.”

I suck in my bottom lip, thinking the men would be mad that he said it like that, but they all chuckle, looking pleased at the fact.

In sync, all the women roll their eyes and I bust out laughing at how they did it at the exact same time.

We all stuff our faces; the toddlers are running around with food smeared all over their faces while Penny and Annie are chasing after them.

After we eat our dessert, the men take the kids down to the clubhouse to the babysitter and then come back with the side-by-sides.

The temperature is dropping and there is a chill in the air. “Terror, do you think I should get some blankets for some of the girls?”

He is in the garage, the side-by-side is bigger than I expected and seems much more comfortable. “I’ve never been on one of these.”
