Nate takes a deep breath. “We want everyone to know that our love isn’t just a phase. It isn’t just something we’ll grow out of or some passing thing. It’s real. It’s forever.”

They both produce ring boxes.

I press my hands to my mouth. “Oh my god.”

Mason’s green eyes meet mine. He holds out his hand. “Laney…”

I go to him, take his hand.

I’m shaking, but the second our fingers touch, my nerves settle.

“Will you marry me?”

Nate reaches out and grabs my other hand. “And me?”

I break out into a laugh which also is some sort of sob as I nod. “Yes!”

I go down on my knees, embracing both of them in my arms, crying onto their shoulders. Though loving two men has become my every day, my normal, I’m still surprised at every turn.

And I’m so glad I wasn’t the only one who wanted what Edwin and Sonia have. “You two–” I kiss Nate. “Scared me!” I kiss Mason.

They laugh, fumble through half apologies, which they don’t need to make, considering they’ve justproposedto me.

Nate takes my hand and slips his ring onto my finger. “They fit together.” He guides my hand into Mason’s.

“Just like us.” Mason has a delicate smile as he slides his ring onto the same finger.

They do fit together, one swirling to the left, the other to the right, interlocking around a central diamond. Just like us.

“I love it.” I sigh. “And I love you…and you… Both of you!” I break out into a laugh. “Oh, my gosh, I…I don’t believe it…”

I remain in their embrace for a long time, breathing them in.

These men are not just my future. They are the rest of my life. My forever.

We force ourselves up to our feet eventually and walk arm and arm back to the ballroom.

When we enter, everyone cheers, led by Edwin and Sonia. Clearly, I was the only one out of the loop regarding my proposal.

Champagne is popped and passed around and love swells around us.

I’ve never had so many beginnings in a short amount of time. I used to be scared of the changes, scared of the shifts.

Now, I relish them. With Nate and Mason at my side, I know I can face anything.

EPILOGUE

LANEY

Twelve months later…

I knew this moment would be difficult in the best way possible.

Standing at the end of the aisle, ready to commit myself to the two men who have loved me harder than anyone ever has.

All eyes are on me, but my eyes are square on them.

It’s a perfect day for it.
