Naked and inside me.

I pull back enough to pant, “Take me to the hotel.”

Luke’s fingers dig into my side as his hooded eyes stare into mine. “Whatever my Princess wants, my Princess gets.”

God, I really might love this fool.

Luke straightens, and with the distance, we both notice all the people still making out around us.

Luke widens his eyes at me. “Probably good to get out of here before this turns into an orgy.”

I nod. “That’s not really my thing.”

He slides one of his hands down and cups my ass. “No one sees you naked but me.”

My hummingbird plucks a feather out of her wing and fans herself with it.

Why is possessiveness so hot?

Luke takes my hand and pulls us back the way we came.

My steps aren’t straight.

But neither are his.

Chapter 53

Luke

It’s beena long time since I’ve been this intoxicated. It’s also been a long time since I’ve felt this… content.

I pull Natalie closer, bending down to talk to her over the music. “The last time I was buzzed was in Mexico.” My lips brush against her hair. “You’re a bad influence, Princess.”

Her laugh is bright. “I think it’s you. Normally I stop at one glass of wine.”

Someone bumps into Natalie from her other side, causing her to stumble.

I tighten my hold on her hand as she laughs off the incident while the woman who ran into her apologizes.

When we finally break through the crowd, a pair of servers—dressed the same as the one who gave us champagne—meet us at the edge of the dance floor.

One of them has a tray piled with little white drawstring bags, and the other has a clipboard.

I take one of the tiny bags and tuck it into my pocket. Some party souvenir, I’m sure. Natalie takes the pen offered by the other server and signs her name on a form.

She hands it to me, and I do the same.

I’ve seen this sort of consent forms before, allowing them to post the photos of tonight online. And since we’ve done nothing illegal, and I want everyone to know Natalie is spoken for, I’m happy for them to share pictures.

Handing it back, I’m a little surprised when both the servers sign the sheet before handing the piece of paper back to Natalie.

Thorough.

Natalie quickly folds the paper and shoves it into her pocket.

“Have a wonderful night!” One of the servers beams, and the other says something as we step past—sounded a lot likecongratulations.

“Right to the hotel?” I ask, taking Natalie’s hand.
