Joey knew what he meant. “It’s because it is. Everything is as it should be. At least for now.”

“For now?”

Joey nodded towards their friends. “They need to find their Ethan. Only then will I be settled.”

“Agreed. We’ll have to have a think and see if we can’t help jig it along.”

Joey chuckled. “Jig it along?”

Ethan snorted. “It just came out. No idea where it came from.”

Joey nuzzled his neck. “I know exactly what I’m doing to you tonight.”

“What’s that?”

“Well, it involves ties and a cock cage.”

Ethan shivered. “Sounds intriguing.”

He thought it would, but that wasn’t all he’d decided to use. It was a good job that they had the suites at the furthest edge of the property. Everyone would still be able to hear them, he was sure, but it would make Ethan feel better if he believed they couldn’t.

Life was great.

Life wasn’t permanent like ink was.

But someone could tell a whole host of stories from their lives through their ink.

Hence, he’d called his shop Life in Ink.

Even when life threw a scar or two, the stories remained. The memories remained. Forevermore.
