Again with the cheesiest grin. Never mind that I’m all alone in my too-quiet condo. I think about the land I’ve got that I’ve never thought about very much. It always felt like a far-off, one-day kind of dream to build a home on my property. I’ve been consumed with med school and my work, enjoying the simplicity of my bare-bones condo near the hospital.
If I’d been told six months ago that a woman would come through here and knock me on my ass, making me dream about things I didn’t think were for me, I would’ve laughed my head off and said there was no fucking way.
