“Fuck,” I grind out.

“Please,” she says, her face pure seduction.

I undress quickly and stalk to the bed, so hungry for her. I remind myself to slow down even if she wants fast, but I’m afraid it’ll be faster than I want it to be, no matter what.

“Hurry,” she says, her fingers gliding down her body until they’re between her legs. She slides the wetness around and I lean down and lick it. “See? I’m ready.”

She tugs on my head and I pause, looking up.

“I want you inside me.”

“I love it when you say what you want. I don’t want to hurt your arm though…”

“You won’t,” she says, smiling. “I can’t wait.”

I climb over her, not putting my weight on her as I settle between her legs. I stare at her until she gets impatient. She arches into me, and she’s right.

“You are ready.”

She grins and I slide in, hissing with how good it feels to be bare inside of her. She moans too, already twitching around me as she lets me in deeper.

“You feel so good,” she whimpers. “I want it all.”

I pull out and then go all the way in, and her head falls back.

“I’ve missed you,” I tell her.

“Not as much as I’ve missed you.”

It takes too much focus to not spill into her, so I don’t argue, but I think it’s obvious that we’re both desperate for each other.

“I’m not going to last long,” I tell her, when she clenches around me.

“I don’t need it to, I’m there,” she says.

I slide out one more time and then keep my thrusts shallow until her whole body is trembling, her walls clamping around me. When I thrust in as deep as I can go, that’s when we both free-fall into heaven.

CHAPTER FORTY-SEVEN

P IS FOR…

A few weeks later

FELICITY

“Today’s the big day. Are you ready?” I ask Owen.

“Yes!” he cheers.

“Beyond ready, right?” Sutton says.

“Right.” Owen laughs.

“I’m so proud of you, son. I know how badly you’ve wanted this day to come, and you’ve been especially patient the past few weeks while we got everything ready.”

“Thanks, Dad. It’s been hard, but I perseversed.”

I try not to giggle as Sutton says, “Yes, you have persevered,” without so much as a hint of laughter in his voice at Owen’s attempt at the word, even though I know he wants to.
