He tucks me against his chest, his arms around me. My body is languid and sore in the best ways. I’m also sleepy.

“I should get back to my place,” I tell him.

“Do you have to go yet?”

“I don’t want to fall asleep…Owen.”

He kisses my forehead. “We could set the alarm and you could go before he wakes up.”

“That feels too risky.”

His hand roams from my hip down to my ass, as he squeezes my cheek. I arch against him and he gives me a heady kiss.

“Sutton,” I warn.

“Just one more time,” he says.

I freeze and pull back and so does he. He frowns when he sees my face.

“What’s wrong?”

“I should go,” I whisper.

“Okay. Did I say something wrong?”

“No.” I shake my head. “This was amazing.” I get up and gather my things, hurriedly putting my clothes on.

He gets up and puts his sweats on.

“You don’t need to get up.”

“The least I can do is walk you to the door and make sure you get home safely,” he says, grinning.

“I’mliterallyin your backyard.”

He shrugs. “I want to see you for as long as I can.”

The things he says. My heart gallops away with me and I try to keep up, walking down the stairs. When we get near the door and I slip into my boots, he tugs my hand and pulls me back against him.

“Hey, slow down. You sure you’re okay?” he asks. He smooths my hair back and stares intently at me.

“I’m great,” I tell him. “Thank you for an incredible night. I’ll never forget it.”

He lifts my hand and kisses my knuckles. “It was my pleasure,” he says, smirking.

“And mine.”

“I sure hope so.” His smile is pure debauchery and I get lost in it. “If you give me another night, I’ll try to make it even better than this.”

I sag against the door. “I thought you’d changed your mind and just wanted one more time tonight.”

He frowns, his brows crinkling in the center. “That’s why you ran out of my bed?”

I nod and he laughs, opening his arms wide.

“Come here,” he says.

I step into his arms and he engulfs me in a huge hug.
