When we leave the restaurant, me rolling both our bags and her walking ahead to make sure we get in the right Uber, I wish that this night would never end.

As soon as we’re in the back seat of the car, the driver starts talking. Felicity frowns at me when he says another name and we realize he’s on the phone. She grins, as happy as I am to not have to make conversation, and I tug her mouth to mine. It’s a long drive to the hotel and we make out until our driver says we’re almost there.

Felicity pulls back, her chest rising and falling. I swipe my thumb over her lips, missing them already, and she makes sure I don’t have her lipstick anywhere.

“I hope this is the fastest check-in ever because I feel like I’m going to die if you’re not inside me soon,” she says in my ear.

“Oh, sweetness. I’ll make sure it is. But don’t say anything like that for the next minute.” I adjust myself and barely hold back my groan when she watches, her teeth tugging on her bottom lip. “Stop that,” I whisper, sliding her lip out. “You look like you want to take me in your mouth when you do that.”

“That’s exactly what I want to do,” she says, leaning closer and licking her lips.

My head falls back against the seat and I try to think of anything but her as we pull into the hotel parking lot.

I tug my suit jacket on when I step out of the car, hoping it will hide most of my situation, and we hurry inside. I purposely don’t make eye contact with anyone as we walk through the lobby. My sole mission is to get the key to our suite. It’s loud and crowded, but the line to check-in is virtually nonexistent since everyone seems to be partying in the hotel bar. When we step into the elevator, I lean against one wall and when she moves next to me, I point to the other side.

“I don’t trust myself in this elevator. Over there.”

She pouts but giggles. “You’re no fun.”

“Your parents could be around any corner.”

“They’re actually staying at another hotel,” she says.

I give her a pointed look. “Get over here.”

She laughs and crosses her arms, her cleavage tempting me even more than it has been all night. “I’m gonna make you wait just for telling me to go away.”

I growl just as we reach our floor and she gets out first, giving that ass an extra sway with each step.

“You’re killing me,” I mutter.

“You’ll live,” she sings.

“I don’t think I will.”

We reach our room and I lift the key card. When it turns green, Felicity opens the door and walks in. The door closes behind us and I roll the suitcases inside, cursing as she lifts her dress over her head and stands in front of me in a lacy black ensemble that was absolutely created to knock me flat on my ass.

CHAPTER THIRTY-FIVE

MORE AND EVERYTHING

FELICITY

“The fuck are you trying to do to me?” he asks, pulling off his jacket and tossing it on the couch.

He runs both hands through his hair, tugging the ends, and takes a deep breath.

“You like?” I ask.

“Hell. Yes.” His eyes roam down my body, sending trails of heat through me, and he curses again, his breath ragged. “Turn around.”

I do and he lets out a pained sound. He stalks across the room, and his hands knead my backside as he whispers in my ear, “Are you really mine tonight?”

“I’m yours for however long you want me,” I answer truthfully.

It might be crazy to be so upfront with him, when my heart is in his hands, but from the beginning, he’s gotten the truth out of me, and when it comes to how I feel about him, it’s just ready to spill out of me.

He pushes my hair aside and his tongue glides up my neck, making me shiver.
