"Got it." I rummaged through the wetsuits, picking one that looked about right. As I turned to ask where I should change, I froze. Alastor and Theo had already started to change, and both men stood in front of me, wearing nothing but tight black shorts that left almost nothing to the imagination.

Theo was shorter than Alastor by several inches, and much slimmer too, but his body was lean and toned, his skin a smooth pale brown. A faint trail of dark hair led down from his chest, disappearing into the waistband of his shorts. His muscles were defined and rippled as he moved, drawing the eye to the V-shaped lines that led towards areas I shouldn't be looking at. I dragged my eyes back up, only to find Theo grinning at me.

"Like what you see, Sariel?" he teased, his playful tone making me blush furiously.

"I-I'll just... um... where can I change?" I managed to stammer out.

“What’s wrong with here?” Theo’s smile widened, but there was heat in his eyes as they dropped down my body.

I hurriedly averted my gaze, feeling heat rise to my cheeks. "I'd prefer some privacy, actually," I mumbled, trying to maintain my composure.

“Theo, don’t be a dick,” said Alastor. “We’ll be done in a minute, Sariel, but there’s a whiteboard over there if that would make you feel more comfortable. I’m sorry, we’re used to Lily and she has no problem stripping in front of us. I should have thought.”

“It’s fine,” I muttered, my blush deepening as I took in the sheer amount of muscle on Alastor’s body. Harder, bigger and stronger than Theo, Alastor could be an artist’s masterpiece. Strength exuded from his huge torso and his powerful thighs, and I couldn’t help but glance down at his shorts that seemed to barely cover what was between his legs.Angels in Heaven…I thought to myself.

I spun around, not even looking up to see if he’d caught me checking him out, and practically dove behind the whiteboard. It covered me from the knees up, but right now, I was more glad that it stopped me looking at them. My heart hammered in my chest and my breathing was shaky. I closed my eyes, trying not to think about them, but thoughts came unbidden into my mind. I had seen images of humans mating, of course I had. I wasn’t innocent, but I had never ever pictured myself in the woman’s place, and I was trying my hardest not to start now.

Lust is a sin, Sariel. Lust is a sin. Lust is a sin. I repeated the mantra over and over in my head, trying to force away the images of Theo and Alastor, as I stripped down to the simple black one piece swimming costume I wore underneath. I folded my clothes before working myself into the wetsuit.

Once dressed and composed, I stepped out from behind the partition, only to find Alastor and Theo already geared up and ready by the entrance of the tent.

"Ready to dive?" Alastor asked, his voice calm and steady.

"As ready as I'll ever be," I replied, trying to push away the nerves that threatened to overtake me.

“If you’re not sure, you can change your mind at any time,” he said seriously. “Even if we get down there and you aren’t comfortable, you let one of us know, and we’ll bring you back up. No shame. You got me?”

I nodded. “I'm good, but I’ll tell you if I struggle.”

He seemed satisfied with this and nodded.

Theo grinned at me. “Well, then. Let’s go.”

Chapter Thirteen

THEO

Getting a full-on boner in a wetsuit was not on my list of things I wanted to repeat. Not only was it uncomfortable, but if the guys in front of me turned around, it was going to be really fucking obvious. The way Sariel had looked at me in that tent had made my wolf howl within me and my body respond in a way I really hadn’t needed it to right now. I’d just about got control of myself when she stepped out from behind that screen wearing her own. Angel she might be, but in close fitting black neoprene that moulded to her body, she was as tempting as Lilith herself. Moons, that woman was so fucking sexy, and she didn’t even know it, which made it worse. I tried to shiftdiscreetly in the wetsuit, adjusting myself as inconspicuously as possible, but with Sariel striding ahead of me and that firm ass in my direct line of sight, I was struggling to keep my thoughts clean.

“Problem, Theo?”

Alastor was walking beside me, and although he was looking straight ahead, there was a smirk on his face that let me know he knew exactly what was going on.

“No problem, boss,” I muttered.

Alastor grinned. “Good to know, but Theo, please remember something.”

“Yes boss?”

“These wetsuits are Concordia issue. Try not to poke any holes in yours with that thing.”

“Funny.” I gritted my teeth and ignored him, fixing my eyes on the boat at the edge of the water, and starting to run through my times tables in my head.

We reached the boat to find Lily already in place in the cabin with the captain, a local man in his fifties who introduced himself as Eli. The boat wasn’t huge as most tourist diving centres were situated on the western side of the sea, and with the five of us, plus all our gear, it was a snug fit. We stowed our gear carefully, securing the tanks, fins, and full-face masks, as well as the heavy lead weights. An avid extreme sports nut, I’d done my homework on the Dead Sea. The salinity of the water meant it was very difficult to sink which was a great tourist attraction, but meant diving was tricky. We’d each need at least a hundred pounds of extra weight to get us down to the depths we needed to reach.

As we took our seats, the vessel came alive with a gentle purr, and soon we were cutting through the water with ease, leaving behind a frothy white wake as we made our way to the dive site. I couldn't help stealing glances at Sariel, her hair pulled back in atight bun, her eyes focused on the horizon. The tension between us crackled like electricity, but she seemed oblivious to my inner struggle. Did our connection affect her at all, I wondered. Or was it just a wolf thing? Was she even aware of the connection? Or was she just doing a better job than me of now acknowledging it? She didn’t have a wolf inside her head, I reminded myself. Mine couldn’t understand the subtleties of human relationships, and didn’t understand why, when we had found our mate, that we couldn’t just take her. Another wolf would have felt the same draw, the same bond, and been unable to ignore it, but Sariel wasn't a wolf.

Lily glanced at me knowingly, a sly grin playing on her lips as she caught me staring at Sariel. Her eyes dropped to my groin, where although my hard on was gradually easing, it hadn’t yet gone completely. Shit, Lily was a fucking succubus. She could sense sexual desire as easily as telling whether the air was warm or cold, and her expression told me she knew exactly what was going on in my wetsuit. I glared at her and pulled my BCD onto my lap, concealing any further evidence.
