“Who the hell are you, where’s Amy?” the guy says, and I hold up a hand to calm him, before meeting him closer to his car.

“She’s in the car with the other girls. They’ve been through something pretty rough,” I warn, giving him a condensed version of what happened. “I shut down the site and the men won’t be a problem. I can call the cops if needed but…”

“No cops,” Owen says pulling my brow up a bit. “I have a car shop that’s not entirely legal, so I’d rather not have to deal with them. If there’s any other assholes that need taken out…”

“Doesn’t appear so, the guy that ran the site is in there and once the girls are all out of here, it’s going up. Just a quick question though,” I add curious how his sister was found. “Do you know a Malcom Rush? He’s the guy that was running the auction. How about a Jonah Mitchem?” I continue when he shakes his head.

“Are you telling me that motherfucker…” Owen fumes looking towards the warehouse.

“He’s not entirely dead yet. He’s bleeding out so either that or the fire will get him.”

“Good, bastard deserves it,” he says, and I agree, before heading over to the car to get the girls that want to go with him and Amy. A hint of a smile hits when the last one slides out and Owen’s eyes land on her. The look in them similar to the one in mine when I saw Emery, but snarl from his mouth has me beginning to step forward. The girl rushes to him, much like Emery did with me, keeping me still when her arms wrapped around him tightly.

“Owen?” Amy says, glancing between him and the girl in surprise.

“That bastard grabbed you too, Mina?” he asks her, ignoring his sister and she nods. “Fuck I’m sorry, angel. He had to be trying to get to me by going through you all.”

“You two know each other?” Amy asks as the third girl that said no cops pops her head up further.

“Jonah grabbed you as well?” she asks them. “I thought he was just trying to piss off my dad because he’s running a gambling ring in his back room.”

“That bastard’s been trying to shut my garage down for the last year. His latest attempt was to grab my sister and girl it seems,” Owen says, his arm still around Mina.

“Your girl? When the hell did you get a girl and why is she still a…”

“Boundaries little sis. I don’t ask why you’re still a virgin, now do I? So don’t ask why I didn’t think someone as sweet as Mina should be landed with a guy like me if she had another option. Something she now sure as fuck doesn’t,” he adds, and I chuckle as the girl sinks into his hold deeper, and his hand digs into her hair. Yeah, I know an obsessed protective motherfucker when I see him. “Get in the car so we can get home. We’ll deal with the rest later. Yo,” he yells our way and I lift my chin at him. “I’ve got this. I’ll be glad to watch it go up in flames hoping it wipes that ass out entirely.”

“Have at it then,” I tell him, sliding into the car and glancing in the rearview mirror. “You two have someone you want to call or…?”

“We aren’t from here,” the first one says as they move into the second row of seats. “We were out hitchhiking trying to get to Seattle, one of those guards stopped. He looked normal so we got in but before we got into the city, he stopped at a gas station. I had to go pee and when I got back, Jess was out cold and then he punched me.”

“When we woke up we were in that cage,” Jess adds. “I didn’t think we’d get out of there alive. Told Sam that maybe our moms were right, and we shouldn’t live in the city.”

“Where are you from?” I ask, giving Owen a wave as I pull out, while he moves towards the warehouse with a lighter in his hand.

“A tiny town about two hours outside Boise, Idaho,” Sam tells us, and I nod.

“I’m guessing you don’t have any IDs hidden on you?”

“Actually I do,” Jess says surprising Sam as she pulls them out from the top of her dress. “I had them in my back pocket since we used our fake ones to get that hotel room and didn’t want anyone to see them in our wallet. I grabbed them after they made us change and that lady looked towards you.”

“Do you want to go home? I can take you to the airport,” I offer watching them in the rearview mirror and the blaze from the warehouse lights up the night sky behind us as Owen’s car pulls onto the street.

“We don’t have any money…maybe Mom will pay for bus tickets for us?” Jess says to Sam, and she nods.

“If you want the extra time on a bus to get there, that’s fine, but if you’d like to get home sooner, we can go to the airport. I’ve got it covered,” I add when they start to interrupt.

“I think the airport would be good, Gage,” Emery says, her hand slipping into mine and I nod, before turning onto the highway to head that way.

I pull into a parking lot before then, glancing at all three of them when they see the Walmart store. “I’m guessing you’d rather not wear that home. They should be open for a while still,” I add seeing as it’s only around seven. “I don’t know when the earliest flight you all can get out on is, and I don’t think you’ll be comfortable sitting around the airport like that.”

“Are you serious?” Sam says and I nod.

“You got yourself something special girl,” Jess says to Emery, and fuck, the blush that hits her cheeks is incredible.

“Come on, lets get you something with a little move coverage,” I tell them, then head around to get Emery’s door when she doesn’t move to get out. “Come on baby. You’re going to need stuff to tide you over until we can get you more after we’re home.”

“I can’t go in there like this,” she says, glancing down at her bust and a low growl erupts from me seeing how much of her breasts are exposed. It was harder to see back at the warehouse even while she was in the car, and I didn’t dare let my eyes linger on her while she was inside it, but fuck, her nipples are almost falling out of the top with her incredible curves.
