Lucas clears his throat and Logan lets go. “Fuck, I’ve been miserable. Miserable without our lost brother, without a purpose, literally fighting for something.” He steps close. “I will always fight for you, not only because I love you, but because you caused my brother to open his heart again. You helped Las find his calling, to take care of you. You have given me a home, wherever you are.”

“Oh, Lucas.” I swipe the tears from my cheeks.

Las moves forward. “You not only accept me for who I am, but my brothers as well. We are flawed, and rough men. We will probably mess up a lot. There is no one I would rather be in this life with than you. You are beautiful, on the outside, but more importantly, on the inside. Your love shines from your eyes and your heart. I am so thankful you decided to shine it on us.”

“I love you, Daddy,” I whisper.

“We are bonded forever,” Handsome says.

“There is no piece of paper that could bond us more,” Lucas says.

“But we would like to marry you,” Las says.

My eyes widen as they bend a knee. “Breeane,” Handsome says. He looks at his brothers on either side of him. “We want to marry you. We want to have babies with you.”

He holds out the most beautiful ring I have ever seen. A band that is made up of four diamond-crusted bands, intertwined together.

“We want to celebrate the gift you have given us,” Lucas rumbles. “You healed us.”

“The gift of you,” Las finishes.

My hand hovers over my mouth as I hold out my left hand. “Of course, I will marry you.” Handsome steadies my trembling hand as he slips the ring on my finger. “It’s stunning.” Bending, I kiss each of them.

Lucas is the first to jump up to hug me. “I love you, Slugger.”

I move out of his arms into his brothers. When I step back, I look at my finger in awe and then back to them.

“This means so much. I want to marry you. Can we do that?” I don’t know if we can find someone that would do it.

“Quinn knows someone. He’s a shifter,” Las says. “It won’t be recognized in the human world, but it will be binding in ours.”

I smile and nod. “Of course, Quinn knows someone.” I finger the band and bite my lip. “I never imagined that this could be my life. I didn’t believe in fate or the universe before. I do now. I believe something was guiding me to this place, at this time, to meet all of you. You are my fate. My loves. My forever. I always wished for someone to love, deeply, and without any ulterior motives. I promise to take care of your hearts because you gave me a home.” I shrug lightly and they surround me.

“Baby, we will always be your home,” Lucas whispers.

I glory in their warm, safe arms.

I searched for a home within the family I was born into, hoping for years they would give me the love I needed.

Yet, I found it with the family I chose.

Who chose me.

They say I healed them, but they are wrong.

They healed me.

Epilogue

Quinn

“Still working into the night, old friend,” Heath says from the doorway of my office.

I don’t bother to look up from my computer. “I like to stay busy. You know this.” He moves to the chair in front of my desk. “Can we still call each other friends?” I ask dryly.

“Why not?”

“I have tried to forget our time together.” I finally look at him.
