I grin. “Let’s get you relaxed.”

She narrows her eyes but doesn’t say anything.

We ride in silence and I glance in the back to see Logan scowling as he looks out the window. I look at Lucas, who catches my eye and shrugs.

Something's going on with Logan. I have to take care of our mate and hope he’ll come to us if he needs to talk through something. I wouldn’t have thought he would before Breeane came into our lives, but he’s changed drastically within a week.

Breeane has changed all of us.

“Take your clothes off,” I command as I pull Breeane into the bathroom.

“What?” she whispers.

“We want you to relax,” I explain.

Lucas kept her distracted while I started the water and found her bubble shit under the sink. The bathroom is filled with the smell of flowers, and even though it irritates my sensitive nose, I would never complain.

“This is so sweet,” she smiles, beginning to undress.

“I don’t think I’ve ever been called sweet.” It may sound cold, but I haven’t been with someone that I want to be sweet with. My longest relationship was two months. I’ve had numerous casual relationships but haven’t felt the need for more. “You are the only one that I will be sweet to.”

“That’s not true,” she denies. “You’re sweet to your brothers.”

“How so?” I scoff. I lean back on the sink, enjoying the show.

“You take care of them,” she states as she stands in her panties and bra.

“I don’t think so.”

“I see you watching them,” she says softly. Her bra joins the pile of clothes on the floor.

“I don’t,” I scowl.

“I watched you work together. You are very sensitive to them. Lucas comes to you all the time for your opinion. Logan values your suggestions. You love them.” She slides off her panties.

“Of course I love them.” I want to avoid this conversation. I have always craved the respect of my brothers, and she is hitting a soft spot. “Get in, baby girl.”

“They respect you, Las,” she whispers. She lowers herself into the water, sighing as the heat hits her body.

“I—” Fuck, I don’t know what to say. I want to deny the lump in my throat.

“It’s alright,” she continues. “I see it. I feel it when you are all together. Logan is finding his way back to you, and Lucas is accepting himself and believing his worth in your eyes. They need you and your love.”

“Baby girl,” I growl. My hands grip the counter tightly. I guess I have things to accept, too.

“My Daddy,” she rasps. “My Daddy needs his baby girl.”

“Shit,” I mutter and take a step towards her but stop as Logan knocks on the door.

“Las,” he whispers.

I frown. “Yeah.”

“You can come in,” Breeane says.

“If I do that, I won’t start what I need to do,” he answers. “Las, is Dad’s number still the same?”

I freeze. A rush of emotion comes over me that I can’t describe. “Yes,” I sputter quickly.
