It was an odd feeling despite how much I appreciated it.

"I made something for you, too," an older woman said as she approached us with some sort of fabric in her arms. She held it out so I could get a better look, and I was immediately dazzled by it.

She handmade a scarf of navy thread with silver stars and half moons embroidered into it, which resulted in a beautiful night sky. I could hardly grasp the proper words.

"This is incredible, thank you," I said, glancing between them. "What are your names?"

While I vaguely recognized them from previous pack events, I still didn't have a good grasp of who everyone was. I figured it was as good a time as any to get to know some of them.

"My name's Tinsley," the younger one said, and she pointed to the older woman. "And this is my aunt, Rosemary. She took me in when my dad refused to leave Sam's pack, and I wanted to follow Levi. We were hoping he would find his mate soon, and we're glad it was you."

"That's very kind of both of you. I can't thank you enough," I offered them, unable to hold back my smile. "I'm glad we're all here together."

"It used to be customary for other pack members to pamper their Luna out of respect and appreciation. Would you mind indulging us?" Rosemary asked, gesturing to a house behind them. Given the blooming flower beds out front, it obviously belonged to them. "We have some wonderful oils and soaps I think you'd love."

I exchanged a quick glance with Ivy, who raised her brows in interest and slight mischief. She knew how strange it was for me to receive that kind of attention.

"We have more than enough for both of you," Tinsley said, beaming a proud smile for us.

"I don't see why not," I replied, finding the idea more appealing as I thought about it.

I had never been to any kind of spa before and didn't mind the idea.

I was glad to hear it. Tinsley and Rosemary gestured for us to follow, and both Ivy and I did as they wished.

Before long, we were sat down in comfortable chairs while either one of them rinsed our hair down and then applied various oils and shampoos that made the room smell amazing.

While the oil soaked in, they massaged our scalps and shoulders and even soaked our feet in lavender-infused Epsom salts.

I couldn't help but take it all in, pleasantly surprised by the royal treatment.

A few weeks prior, I had been mocked and sneered at. My coffee was kicked over, and my book was ripped in half, all because of how I looked and the abilities I never asked for.

I had been miserable. That feeling only worsened when Sam offered me up to Levi, but at the time, I didn't realize how much of a blessing it really was.

My life had changed completely for the better, and while I was still adjusting to the customs and duties of being a Luna, I knew I was incredibly lucky for it all.

When my hair was mostly dry, Tinsley began braiding it and incorporating some of her fresh flowers in each plait. I gave her complete control of what she wanted to do with it, and she was more than willing to just sit back and enjoy it.

"Levi's going to love it," she said warmly.

I silently hoped that he would.

For the first time in my life, I didn't feel isolated or condemned for being myself. I felt accepted and appreciated and like I had the opportunity to make the most of it all.

It was a considerable step up from how my life used to be, and with Ivy around, the overall adjustment seemed easier than ever before.

Levi had a very different way of leading his pack, and it showed in everything. From the way he valued each one of his members and took their thoughts and feelings into consideration to how his guidance reflected in everyone's treatment of one another.

Since I stepped foot on his grounds, I never heard a single harmful thing from anyone. If anything, I had been smothered with kindness at every possible turn. That was hardly a difficult burden to bear.

"What do you think about having better access to physical books here?" I asked them out of the blue, curious about their input.

"I would love that," Tinsley said. I miss the feeling of walking into a bookstore or library.”

"We've been hoping for a library for a while now, but nobody has stepped in to make it happen," Rosemary added, looking delighted at the idea.

"That's good to know," I hummed, catching as Ivy glanced over at me curiously.
