“Go on, touch the knot.”
“God, no way, it looks gross.” Sienna sticks her index finger in her mouth and gags dramatically.
“It won’t feel gross inside you.”
I run my hand down my latest invention, feeling the smooth silicon beneath my fingertips before I hand it to her. “Touch it and imagine how good it’ll make you feel.”
“I’m not knotting myself.” Sienna’s voice hitches. “I’m a beta. I can’t take that.” She points her finger at the knotty end. “Or that.” Her fingertip hovers the length of the dildo, like she is scared to touch it. “It’s massive.”
It took months of planning to create the perfect little toy. And I can’t contain my excitement. I have a feeling that this is the product that will catapult my little company into the spotlight of the sex toy industry.
I just need a little help.
“Just hold it,” I say with a groan.
When she takes it, I reach for the remote control and press the button. The knot at the base of the dildo enlarges in her hand, and I watch her eyes widen as she feels it pulsate under her palm.
My heart rate increases as I grip the remote in my hand, knowing that I’m creating something that will bring immense pleasure to betas.

“I do not.” Her hand releases the toy like it suddenly burned her, landing on the table with a thump.
Despite her rebuttal, curiosity sparks in her eyes when I press the remote for the toy to come to life.
“Are you sure about that?” I ask because she remains infatuated with the dildo as it transforms from a harmless, normal-sized toy to something considerably larger.
“Have you used it?” Sienna asks as her fingertip absently slides up and down the knot at the base of the dildo.
“Not this one, but toys are all I use.” I wiggle my eyebrows.
“You live with an alpha. You should make the most of his dick,” she says.
“Jake’s my best friend. We don’t want to ruin our friendship.”
“If you went into heat...” She pauses as she squeezes the knot at the end with her fingertips. “Would you use him, then?”
“I’m an omega, Sienna. One day, I’ll go through my heat.” It does surprise me that up to now I haven’t. “And like any other omega, I’ll do whatever I need to do. Even if that’s with Jake. But to satisfy your curiosity, we haven’t gone further than an awkward kiss and I doubt we’ll go as far again.”
“Oh, I’m surprised.” She hesitates for a moment. “You must be getting close to having your heat. I’ve never heard of an omega going into her twenties before having one.”
“I’m expecting it to suddenly come on.” I click my fingers in the air. “Just like that.”
“You know Grace’s mother is an omega,” she whispers, looking around the bar as though she shouldn’t be telling me this. “And her father was an alpha. But he was a bastard. A womanizer, into drugs, and…”
“Is he still around?”
She shakes her head. “He stayed until Harlow and Bardot were one-year-old, I think, around then anyway.”
“Oh.”
“Yeah. Their dad was a cheating alpha-hole, and he stayed with their mom because he accidentally bonded her during a rut. So don’t be making that mistake, especially when you’re in heat.”
“And I guess they hated each other?”
