“Of course, darling, I’ll do whatever you ask for, love, okay?”

“Okay.. I love you, Killy.”I let out a sigh of relief as I responded.

“I love you, sweetheart.” She hung up, and I placed the phone on the desk while rubbing my temples. I heard someone yawn and looked up to see Blaine sitting across from me. He smiled childishly, and I narrowed my eyes at him.

“#1, What the hell are you doing here? And #2, how much did you hear?”

“#1, That’s not important, and #2, everything,” He responded, and I groaned as he continued. “You’ve entered into another stage of being whipped. Now you’re baby whipped.”

“I wish I didn’t agree with you.. Brielle has been so emotional lately… First, she’s agitated, then she’s happy, sad, angry, embarrassed, aroused, tired, and this is all within the first two hours of the day.”

“You know, I think I’ve seen her display every emotion you just mentioned.” He muttered in genuine thought, and I shook my head.

“I’m sure you have, Blaine.” A few seconds later, the door opened, bringing in Eugene and four other equally built men. Blaine’s eyes bulged once he saw them and turned to me.

“What the hell is going on here?” He asked, and Eugene spoke.

“These are your groomsmen..”

I laughed. “Of course they are, and I can’t exactly say no to you, can I? Because then Brielle will find out, and I can only take so much fucking crying and punches of anger.” I fumed, and the men chuckled, all except Blaine, who looked deep in thought again before he glared at me.

“Killian, you haven’t asked me to be your best man yet… It’s surely not going to be this mother fucker now, is it?” He asked, referring to Eugene, and I groaned.

“I would assume you already knew this by heart, but Blaine, would you do me the honor of being my best man?” He scoffed.

“Well, now I don’t want the title if it’s a burden to ask me.” I rolled my eyes, and Eugene laughed.

“This is the exact reason why I didn’t even want to think about being his best man.”

Blaine looked over to him. “And what’s that supposed to mean?” He asked, and Eugene ignored him as he glanced over to me.

“Let me know when you start preparing everything. I’ll bring them along to help out.” I nodded my head, and the men left my office. I finished the last of the files, and Blaine surprisingly stayed quiet. Eventually, my phone rang again, and I picked it up and held it to my ear.

“Hi darling, how are you?”

“Good, I just got out of the store with Nathan..”

“Oh? Did you have fun?” I asked, knowing well that she did.

“I did, I-I bought blankets, calendars, shoes, and my ice cream and peppers!”She ranted, stuttering, trying to get her words together with her excitement.

“Well, didn’t you have quite the field day?” Blaine laughed at my choice of words, but I ignored him as I knew I had to choose them wisely.

“I did. I’m about to go to the dance studio. Do you still have your 12 PM meeting today?”She asked me, and I chuckled. As much as she didn’t want to admit it, I knew she loved to call me every hour. Sometimes, she’d be upset with me if I didn’t answer, but it’d mainly be my appointments that held me up.

“Not today, love, so I’ll have time to talk to you..” I could tell she was smiling, and she spoke.

“Alrighty, well, I’m gonna let you go. We just parked, and I’m about to go inside.”I couldn’t help the nervous feeling I had in my gut, and I bit my lip.

“You don’t leave Fuller’s side for a minute when you’re outside of that building. You understand me?” I demanded, and she stayed silent for a moment.

“…I know.. Are you alright, Killian?”

“I am, darling, but you know I can’t help but stress over your safety and now the baby’s as well..”

“We’re okay, Killy. If it makes you feel any better, Nathan can stand at the door of the building like a maniac as usual..”

“I already instructed him to do so, but I’m glad you understand my level of concern right now.”
