"This?" he whispered, his lips ghosting over my skin as he unbuckled his pants freeing his cock.

"Yes."

That was all the permission he needed. He stripped off his pants, and then at long last he was inside me.

I gasped at the feeling, my body adjusting to the delicious fullness. He rocked into me, the pace slow and sensual. Every movement sent shockwaves of pleasure through my body, and the pressure built with each hot press, each thrust, each moan of my name.

He kissed me deeply, his tongue dancing with mine. He increased his pace, his thrusts deeper and more insistent. My hips rocked in a push and pull with his, elongating the in and out. He was so hard as I squeezed around him, the angle just right.

I could feel myself teetering on the edge, and I knew I was close. Jake reached down, his thumb circling my clit, and that was all it took.

I cried out, my climax hitting me like a freight train. Jake groaned, his rhythm faltering as he followed me over the edge, his release shuddering through him.

For a moment, we were both lost in the pleasure, our bodies joined in a symphony of bliss.

"That was incredible," Jake murmured, his eyes half-closed, forehead resting gently on mine.

I grinned, kissing him softly. "It sure was."

The afterglow was real. I felt boneless, the tension of the day completely drained away.

JAKE

I slipped out of Molly's bed in the middle of the night, careful not to wake her. She looked so peaceful, her hair fanned out across the pillow, a small smile playing on her lips. I couldn't help but lean down and press a soft kiss to her forehead before I left, my heart swelling with love and gratitude for this incredible woman.

As I padded quietly through her house, gathering my scattered clothes and belongings, I couldn't shake the feeling of contentment that had settled deep in my bones. Being with Molly, holding her in my arms and feeling the steady rhythm of her heartbeat against my chest, was like coming home after a long journey. It was a sense of belonging, of rightness, that I had never experienced before.

I paused at the door, my hand on the knob of her room, and glanced back at her sleeping form one last time. I knew with a certainty that took my breath away that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. I wanted to wake up beside her every morning and fall asleep with her in my arms every night. I wanted to build a future with her, to create a family and a home that was filled with love and laughter and all the things that made life worth living.

It was a realization that both thrilled and terrified me, the sheer magnitude of my feelings for her almost overwhelming in its intensity. I had never been one to believe in soulmates or destiny, but with Molly, it was like everything had suddenly clicked into place. She was the missing piece of the puzzle, the other half of my heart that I hadn't even known I was searching for.

As I stepped out into the cool night air, I couldn't help but marvel at the twists and turns that had brought us to this point. When I first met Molly, I had been a mess emotionally, shutting our romance and real connection all because of Natasha's. I had been angry and bitter and so focused on my own pain that I could barely see beyond the end of my nose.

But Molly had changed all that. With her kindness and her patience and her unwavering silliness which had slowly but surely chipped away at the walls I had built around my heart. She had shown me that it was okay to be vulnerable, to let someone in and trust them with my deepest fears and darkest secrets.

I made a decision, right then and there, as I turned onto my street and pulled into my driveway. I was going to ask Molly to move in with me. Tonight. I couldn't wait any longer, couldn't stand the thought of waking up without her by my side every morning.

I knew it was a big step, knew that it would mean changes for Hailey, too, but I had a feeling she would be thrilled. She adored Molly, and I knew having her around full-time would be nothing but good for our little family.

With a spring in my step and a smile on my face, I unlocked the front door and stepped inside. A few hours later when my alarm went off, I was excited and ready to start the day. I had a plan, and nothing was going to stand in my way.

Or so I thought.

I was just pouring myself a cup of coffee, still grinning like a fool, when there was a knock at the door. Figuring it was just a package delivery or maybe a neighbor dropping by, I swung it open without a second thought.

Except it wasn't a delivery guy or a friendly face on the other side. It was a man in a suit, with a somber expression and a thick envelope in his hand.

"Mr. Kingsbury?" he asked, his voice grave.

I nodded, my stomach sinking like a stone. "That's me. What's this about?"

He handed me the envelope, his eyes full of something that looked like pity. "You've been served, Mr. Kingsbury. I'm sorry."

I stared at him, my mind struggling to make sense of his words. Served?

With shaking hands, I tore open the envelope and pulled out the stack of papers inside. As I scanned the first page, my blood ran cold.
