Playing with fire, asshat.

“I could still kick you in the nuts,” she tells me with a sweet smile.

I let go of her wrists. “Don’t even think about it.” I push off her and go to stand. Once I adjust my dick as discreetly as I can, I reach down to help her up.

“So gentlemanly of you.”

I snort. “That’s the first time I’ve ever been called that.”

She takes my hand, and I yank her up as she rights herself. “Well, that was fun.”

“I think we’ve had enough trainin’ for today.”

“I read the lap pool is heated,” she says, like it’s Christmas morning.

I do not want to think about mystery girl in a bathing suit. Nope. I’ve enough of a raging hard-on going on in my sweats right now without adding to it.

“So you’re goin’ swimmin’?”

She shrugs. “I swim a lot at home. That’s my usual modus operandi for working out.”

Fuck no. I can’t… Swallowing hard, I pretend that doesn’t affect me. “Figures.”

“Hey. I did okay, didn’t I?”

“Twenty minutes without breakin’ a sweat isn’t exactly a workout.”

“Says you.” She shrugs.

“I think I need to go order breakfast,” I mutter.

“Great. Bring it to the pool.”

I glare at her. “I’m not your fuckin’ errand boy.”

“Fine. I’ll go down and get it myself.”

I run a hand through my hair. Of course, I can’t let her do that.

“Remind me we need to stop at the grocery store. Can’t be orderin’ in every second of the day.”

“Why not? I’m paying.”

“It’s not convenient.”

I do not look at her ass in those tight yoga pants as she walks in front of me. Her ass is so damn fine…

“For you, no, it probably isn’t. But it is for me.”

“That’s because you’re used to having servants wait on you hand and foot.”

She turns and gives me an eye roll. “They’re not servants. They’re staff, and I don’t treat them badly.”

I have a vision of her screwing her nose up at dinner time and demanding another meal instead. Is she really that much of a brat? Or is she just a rich kid with a heart of gold?

I haven’t quite figured that out yet, but from what I’ve seen over the years with spoiled kids who used to buy from me, most of them are all the same.

“What do you want for breakfast?” I never thought those words would come out of my mouth.
